Walter Isaacson is in the class of biographers par none. Except perhaps Steven Kotkin (please check me on his name) who has done a three volume work on Joseph Stalin. We need writers like these but it sad so few glean any wisdom from within the message. Reading between the lines is a lost artform. A skilled author makes plain the ground where a careful reader will glean the kernels from the chaff...i.e. Not being told what to think but letting information distill through ones own cognizance. That is an art. Biographers today seem more like rhetoriticisns and they are multitudinous. Walter Isaacson has a clear mind. Thank you for offering this :)
