Just fitted a Triton t90sr and it's not heating. I followed the instructions, have fitted showers before but no good. The unit came straight out of the box, brand new. I'm stumped.
Hi Michael, sorry to hear this. We have a T90SR step-by-step installation video which may be of assistance at the link provided. Alternatively, our technical team for this product can be contacted at techinfo@earthridge.ie. th-cam.com/video/4Ue_iShrx74/w-d-xo.html
One of my electric showers in my house is going from hot to cold then back to hot and cold and I tried multiple shower heads on the shower and it didn't do anything and I even blead it as well and it still does the same thing
Hi, this would sound like overheating from the description, this would typically be due to not enough water getting into the heater or the water staying in the heater to long. In the first instance we would advise checking the inlet filter to make sure that a blockage hasn't occurred restricting the flow in. Also if the head has already been changed checking that the hose hasn't kinked. If both appear okay we can offer further help over the phone on our service number 02476 372222.
I have a Triton AS2000XT pumped shower, installed 2.5 yrs ago, working off cold water from an attic tank, via apressure tank (have a well & submersible pump) and hot water from a HW cylinder and attic header tank. I have a few questions: 1) The entire range of required water temperatures for the shower occur over just a few degrees of the temperature dial - the rest is redundant. Is that normal? 2) I am finding that I gradually need to advance the temperature dial in order get the right temperature. Soon, I will reach the end of the dial. What then? I will be buying another soon for an additional bathroom working of the same system and wonder whether it can cope.
+Gruntol5 Sorry to hear this. Provided that what you have described has not always been the case with your AS2000XT, it is possible that a blockage or air lock to the hot water feed, an inlet filter blockage on the hot water feed or a temperature valve issue are the most likely causes of the problem you are now experiencing.
+TritonShowers : Thanks for your reply. Blocked filters may be the answer, but where are they? I can only assume that they are inside the Triton enclosure? We've had a borehole supplied water system before and that didn't have any filters in it, resulting in the washing machine cycle eventually taking hours and faucets blocked. I think plumbers must be slightly mad. So easy & obvious to install an inline filter before the pressure tank.
xpert gamer Sorry for the delay in responding to your enquiry. Products that contain a pump, such as the T90xr pumped electric shower, will have a certain degree of noise which is the operational noise of the motor. As a guide, the noise tone and level would be something similar to that of an average hair dryer. Differing installation conditions, such as the type of wall that the unit is mounted on, may affect the actual noise emitted from the shower. If you do feel there is a fault with the product, we can arrange a warranty service visit for you through our service department (Tel: 0844 980 0750).
Looking up videos on how tf to use this thing just moved into a student house ngl I'm too awkward to ask how to turn on the shower 😭
