Thank you for that, I found it to be just what I wanted 🙂. I just needed to see how well the HT-88 worked, great job. Your shooting was good too, well done.
I actually purchased an HT-77 LRF. I'm Just waiting for the IR I got from the UK. Have been out playing with the buttons, taking photo and video learning to adjust all the focusing. Probably won't be much good on possum as they need to be shot quickly. But hares, rabbits and deer will be a different challenge but doable. Having fun though. 😊
@@ajmaljamshed4158 The rifle scope is not effected at all. The image on the add on isn't as clear as the rifle scope, but it does not effect the use at all. It is a good addition for making your rifle scope a night vision scope. The HT88 is shorter than similar units which makes it good.
Sorry, I got that wrong. Yes I believe different scopes can have better or worse results, but I have used this on 2 or 3 different scopes and I didn't notice any drop in quality.@@ajmaljamshed4158
Sweet timing. Just contemplating if should go for hare hunt tonight. Video made me mind up. Nice shooting Pauly. Another enjoyable video. I'm off, hares await.
I'm looking for a clip-on, so appreciate your videos. A few questions.... Where in NZ are you based? I was originally considering the Pard 007SP, but not sure if the range finder works well over the top turret and they're pretty pricey. I'll use it on a Wildcat at night, but 50/50 as to whether I should just guess hold over/under vs using the LRF as most shooting will be
@@Pauly5150 I've opened my options back up to consider the Pard DS35 scope now. It will have the ballistics software and LRF on the front (unlike clip-ons). Haven't checked the clarity or reviews yet. I'm in Pukekohe.
Hi Andries, the scope is a Falcon M18+ using the Sytong HT88 add on unit. I haven't used a Pard, but this HT88 is a shorter unit, so comfortable to use.
The HT88 is shorter, so it's better to use. I have never used a Pard NV007v so can't compare sorry. I can recommend the Sytong though, I am very happy with it.
The unit is 1.5 x base mag. You might need to check on the website for the specifics though. I just find it works well though. Utilizing the optics of the scope, I never use the mag on the unit anyway.
@@Pauly5150 it appears that the 16 mm is a 2x base optical magnification and the 12mm is a 1.5x base magnification. From some of the forums I've been following apparently the field of few stay the same between the 12mm and the 16mm however the 12mm has black shadows at the far ends of the scope so it doesn't give you any more actual field of fiew. Therefore the distributor said they will not carry and 12mm just the 16mm which is a 2x base mag. Thanks for the reply. Great video. Looks crystal clear.

Most shots would have been 35 to 55 m. I used the on board IR. At end I show what it performs like at 100 m. Great little unit these.
Great clip. One last question : how much the quality of telescope effects the performance of this add on?

I think I was didn't ask clearly. I meant to know whether quality of telescope will be a significant factor in the performance of ht88?

I'm in Wellington. I also use it on a Wildcat for feral pigeon work. I see you've seen the video with pigeons.

At what distance were you taking these shots? And just onboard IR or additional IR also?
Distances were around 35 to 55 m, and I was using onboard IR

Hi can you tell me do the ht 88 have a zooming or not
Yes, you can digitally zoom the image, but I don't use it as the scope has magnification.@@andriesburger846

Does this model have a rangefinder?
No, not this model, but i team it up with an LE032 and it works well.
Check this video out. I use it here. th-cam.com/video/gPSjH-mmQUg/w-d-xo.html
Hallo Paula, was für objektiv 12er oder16. Infrarot 850 o.940. Sencyo
Hi Janos, the scope is a Falcon M18+ FFP. I usually shoot on 8 - 10 mag and leave the HT88 on base magnification. I use 850 nm unit.
@@Pauly5150 what ranges you were shooting them?
@@ajmaljamshed4158 These were around 30 - 55 m.
what do you think of the 66.
Iv'e never used the 66. This HT88 is shorter, so it doesn't make the scope so long. It's a good picture too. I believe it's an upgraded screen.
