I had a similar meet with Harold the Helldiver moose (Harold is on youtube , not my video. RIP) He stood abut 30 feet away from me hiding behind a bush, I was so fooled, His eye had that same indescribable intensity. If you are ever in moose country and driving at night you should know their eyes do not reflect light like a deer's eyes do.

The out come is usually different when a moose comes up too you unaware , as too say , when a person approaches a moose first unaware.
