You can buy a product to seal your countertop if it is a natural product, like granite or marble. That way you won't have the discoloration or staining.

I'm waking up at 6:30 to clean up my home for 30 minutes in the morning (except for the dishes and the counter) . It's the only time I know nothing will interupt me. In the evenings I cook and people call me. I also have other projects to focus on in the evenings as my mind is more creative in the evenings. In the weekend I'm usually traveling or visiting family etc..
I tried the lemon and baking soda on my sink for the first time and WOW! Clean as a whistle and smells wonderful. I'll be cleaning it this way from now on. Thanks for the tip!
Hi Naomi. I enjoyed your video as always. I wanted to mention that when you put meat out at night to thaw, you should place it in a bowl of cold water. It will still thaw and the cold water will prevent the growth of bacteria caused by the warmer temperature .

If you place carrot on a teatowel or cotton cloth. Towel will get stained, not kitchen bench. Baking soda is great for cleaning. Using it with lemon had amazing results for your sink. Last night, some oil got on my ceramic cooktop and underneath the frypan. After cleaning the frypan it didn't remove the oil stain. This morning, I scrubbed the area with baking soda a few times. The stain is gone

Back here in india I just keep a beet with the skin in d pressure cooker while cookinh rice and lentils and the peels comes right off ...our indian cookers are a lil different and we can easily add 2 to 3 bowls with diff things

Naomi, it appears we have the same sink which I love, makes clean up easy but it is hard to flush food particles down the drain. I have to use a squeegee to direct all the little bits to the drain. Just wondering if you have the same problem and if so how you deal with it. Love your channel.
