Fatima is not jealous of Deja or Karen, Fatima just wants these women to respect her relationship. And that's a big difference from jealousy, and I'm speaking from a woman's perspective.

I would like to see Fatima get her law degree and leave Sistas with Zac. Fatima and ROBIN get their own law office together. It seems that Robin who owned the law office got pushed out. Chrystal just started her acting career and CJ can't hold a candle to Chrystal. I've always said Fatima (Chrystal Renae Hayslett ) and Zac (Devale Ellis) saved SISTAS! Every baby on SISTAS is Zac's. Sibrina can hook up with Zac and she to can have a baby and get a storyline and not have a man either. SISTAS is not a #1 rated show, TP doing all he can to save it, but it's been 💩 for a while!

@omjones9045 It started off as Andi show because that it what it was supposed to be. It's really about Andi and her friends. I do believe Fatima(Crystal Renee Hayslett) will get her law degree. I don't think Robin will be coming back. Jake the character is really Bryce. I think it was dumb to change the character and their name. Crystal didn't just start her acting career, it just blossomed.
There are numerous factors to Zac and Fatima’s toxicity, Karen is just the main one. Karen going away isn’t gonna fix all their issues. They were still toxic on Zatima which doesn’t include Karen at all. Intense couples therapy is what they need

All relationships have problems. That is not what makes them toxic. It's how they handle the problems. Fatima often times does not communicate as well as Zac. Zac should not always be the one apologizing and explaining himself. Fatima wants, but doesn't need Zac and they make sure to show that. I think it would be nice for her to show a little vulnerability and show him she needs him also.
Great video Jeremy! My favorite character is Zac. I just want him to become a better person and win. Win in his relationship with Fatima, win in his real estate business, win with his kids, just win in life. Devale has done such a wonderful job.

Fatima and Zac's r elationship is not toxic, I say this because regardless to how much they have been going through, they are still together as a couple. Fatima and Zack has that chemistry that makes a couple a couple. They are there for each other just as a couple should be. Every couple have their issues what really matters is how they get through those issues is what makes them stronger or walk away. I feel that Fatima and Zack are here to stay.
Jeremy, I really hope you read this post. Please, please do Zac and Karen. Because Karen and Zac is sort of Zac's beginning and end of toxicity, so when you look at how Fatima fits in, she's sort of in the middle of both of his toxic relationships. She has sort of been drawn into this toxicity that Karen and Zac already had established based on the fact that she got involved with Zac. So I think that that would be an even better video and more informative. Because Fatima is in the middle of it all. There was no way for Zac to have a healthy relationship with Fatima because he had all of these unresolved issues coming freshly out of a very toxic relationship with Karen. I think you should have done Karen and Zach first. But I appreciate you doing what you've done.

IMO (emphasis on my people) Zac and Fatima has become just as toxic as Zac and Karen. No Fatima does not belittle Zac the way that Karen did but Fatima does lay hands on Zac (domestic violence) and calls Zac stupid and no Zac does not cheat on Fatima but he disrespects her, neglects and ignores her feelings, shows favoritism for Karen over Fatima, and takes Fatima’s kindness for granted. He disrespected Fatima calling her a ‘’B’’. Also telling her to leave the hospital when he was there with his mom and then Fatima running up on him with Connie in the position that Fatima was sent away from. He disrespected Fatima when he embarrassed her at the fire sight acting like Karen was the only woman in his life. Zac neglects Fatima’s feelings when he doesn’t consider her in his impulsive decisions he makes, like when Zac decided all on his own that he was going for full custody for little Mikey not giving any thought to whether he should even discuss the matter with Fatima. Not considering how this would affect her life because for Zac ride or die just means that Fatima is always gonna be ok with whatever he brings or does, so why even bother asking or discussing. It was obvious that he should have discussed it because Fatima was caught off guard by Zac’s intentions, but as usual Fatima went with it and this is just one incident. And Zac doesn’t realize that every time he allows Karen to call Fatima a ‘’B’’ in his presence he is choosing Karen over Fatima. There is no way that Zac should always shut Fatima’s response to Karen down with his no we not doing that to Fatima while he stands there and allows Karen to call his fiancé a ‘’B’’ and he says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to Karen at allow. Would any woman feel as though they were the top girl while the ex is being ALLOWED to come at her while her man says NOTHING. C’mon now, that’s some ish. Zac came at his brother, mother and friend about calling Fatima a ‘’B’’ but can’t address this matter with Karen. At that coffee shop Zac (that Zac shouldn’t have been at) should have set Karen COMPLETELY straight on the ‘’B’’ ish and so much more but he instead walks on eggshells around Karen because he’s scared of Karen and therefore Fatima gets told to stop her remarks instead of Karen. And the worse was the disrespectful way that Zac treated Fatima when he intentionally told Fatima the lie that he had slept with Connie to purposefully beak Fatima’s heart knowing that it was the deal breaker that they had discussed and agreed upon. He took their relationship to a whole other level of degrading by hurting her so that her heart would break but then wanted her back. Zac was well aware and knew that she would be devastated but yet did it anyway and added he ‘’F’’ her real hard as though to stab Fatima again. That stuff plays with your mind. I mean Who does that??? Fatima has lost herself in helping Zac find himself but what has Zac lost??? Better yet what has Zac contributed to Fatima’s life or their relationship other than problems and’’’D’’??? It would have been better to see this amount of toxicity from a couple like Zac and Karen who was at least together on and off for 3 years than from Zac and Fatima who has only been together for 6 months. Bottom line is I wholeheartedly agree with Crystal Renee Hayslett and Devale Eli’s. When Crystal said that Zac and Fatima are toxic because they are. With all of the drama, chaos, discord, and disrespect along with red flags screaming in your face in only a 6 month, who really wouldn’t call this toxic. And Devale Ellis who said that Zac and Fatima’s relationship is built on a foundation of lust and he personally wouldn’t enter into a relationship with that much trouble. He also talked about bonding through trauma, the trauma bond and that’s what Zac and Fatima might have. Her needing to fix him. As Toxic? What is more toxic than cheating, bringing home STDs, False imprisonment, Stalking, Starting fights with multiple people..... none of the things Zac or Fatima have done to each other. Fatima has only hit Zac out of anger and thinking he cheated one time that i remember in zatima season 2. she never just hits on Zac. If anything Zac is the toxic person with all the drama not Fatima.
I also wanna point out that if you have lived your entire life and never knew what true love and happiness was and things seem to go right, but never quite getting there these are the type of pictures that you always produce because you’re incapable of actually believing that there are happy people in the world that does not have toxic relationships and that are truly happy without chaos without drama without misery without discuss it do exist. Bring back the joy of Zac and Fatima the passion the reason that we couldn’t wait for this show to air.
Zatima and Zac are in a new relationship and what they are facing is growing together pains and deciding to go to therapy will help. We bring into our relationships our character flaws and trauma from past relationships but I do believe we will see growth as the relationship continues, most of the contention comes from the outside interference. They will make it!!
If you look at the extent of Zac and Fatima's relationship on both Sistas and Zatima, TP built their love story and had us fall in love with them. Then, he decided that no couple is like this in real life without issues. So TP threw in Hayden, Karen, Heather, Deja, Connie, and even Zac's drug addicted family. Take all of these characters out of their relationship, and you have a loving couple, but not enough drama for the 2 shows. Sadly to say he made Zac look the worst, but even with that, we as viewers love them as a couple. So, then new writers come along (which TP explained on Crystal's podcast why he brought in new writers) and not only are they trying to keep Karen apart of Zac, but also having her disrespect Fatima. So, naturally, viewers are sick of it. There is no storyline for Karen, outside of Zac. No loving relationship between Zac and Fatima, and not having them moving forward with a positive and loving relationship. So, yes, it's a TV program, but they could make this couple an example of black love. After all, they've gone through enough, and it's time to take up their pen and write some positive and loving things for Zac and Fatima.

I think that Zatima's relationship is toxic in a sense that Zac does not facilitate a safe space for Fatima to be secure in their relationship because he's still entertaining other women (Connie, Deja and Karen). Whether or not he does it in Fatima's face or not but he does not move like the man that asked her to move in with him and wants to be a husband to her. In order for your woman to remain the same person you fell in love with or to not put up walls or fight your battles you have to rise up to the occasion and by actions allow her to operate in her femininity. I see nothing wrong with fact that Fatima said Zac must be nice to Karen but you have to set boundaries because why are you still touchin on your ex? Zac himself cried over a hug with Fatima and Ian at the coffee shop so he has got to be mindful of his actions. Being with Zac has forced Fatima to revert back to the person that she was before I imagine, always have to fight to be heard and to be respected. Karen calling her out of her name, Connie and Deja playing in her face could be shut down by Zac if he can just have authority in his voice to tell them that is not something he will allow and you know what he can do that without being mean to the other ladies. It is not Zac's fault that he comes with baggage but he should be also accommodating his woman that is choosing him and his baggage. It is not fair to say just because she is choosing to stay then she should deal with how things are and not be affected. Sorry for the long text. I am only 57 minutes in but felt I should pause a bit. I still feel these two need to understand that right now it only the two of them that matters, especially if the goal is to get married. Otherwise they will always be victim of outside forces that try to pull them apart.
Jeremy I must agree with you on this, Zac and Fatima is sistas, don’t get me wrong the other actors & actresses are good but zatima chemistry is fire and it’s a never before seen tv couple with this type of chemistry ever. And I must say if it wasn’t for Karen negative energy and her interfering in zatima relationship ion think their will be any toxicity. Yes, I know for Seasons 3 & 4 viewers wanted to fight me on this, but it is true! You cannot deny the impact of Zatima and how it became Sistas. NO ONE cared about the repetitive nonsense of the other characters. Yes, Season 7 is FINALLY giving the characters outside of Zatima some story. However, we all know who still holds the fan attention more than anyone else

Yes they did regressed them back a lot I think Season 6 they were strong for eachother, Zac was standing on business with no disrespecting Fatima like the Mall scene were they met Karen he was quick to defend Fatima but with this new writers they took him back to a Zac with no boundaries that allows Karen get her way

I enjoyed this video more than I expected. I honestly have been feeling like Zatima is CJ & Janine in reverse. They got together quickly and their drama came quick, but I feel like it's going to eventually level out. I don't agree that another woman would be in Fatima's position because it was Fatima being more aggressive with Zac when they first hooked up. Zac was just trying to work at the airport and get his life together through Chain Breakers. He wasn't even thinking about getting with a woman. Zac does need to become emotionally intelligent when it comes to being head of household. He has it down as far as paying bills, etc. I don't think they are going to break Zatima up either. I find it interesting that I've seen a lot of comments from people who say they started their relationship the same way Zatima did and have been married for 15+ years. I would actually like to see a video on friendship dynamics. I find it very interesting the Sista Circle has been friends since college. Zac, Nathan, and Tony have been friends since they were kids. Just like we learned Angela and Fatima have been friends since elementary. Makes me think that's how long they've been friends with Belinda as well. Zatima's friends communicate . Sista Circle is surface level communication. I feel like Tyler made those dynamics different on purpose.
In Sister's Zac and Fatima would be doing real gd if Karen wasn't around. Their other problem is communication and listening to each other. In Zatima it's there friends. Also, other lady's and men's. TP new what he was doing getting Fatima and Zac together. He new how they relationship and friendship would be. They going to ride and die for each other. When Karen and Zac was together it wasn't no ride and die for each other. It was always breaking up off and on. No one is perfect.
I have to disagree with Devale about Zatima being life because in no way shape or form would Devale and his wife go through this BUT I think that what Devale said is DEFINITELY a PERFECT example of what Crystal was talking about when she said that the black community has normalized toxicity in that Devale sees this as life but just not his life. He has already said that he wouldn’t be in a relationship like this in a video that him and KJ Smith did together when they were discussing Zac and Fatima. Sometimes I think that Devale talks because he knows that people are listening to him and he makes it sound good. And it’s sad because this is exactly the stereotypical beliefs that those outside of the black culture associated with black love and the black community and Devale has only reinforced their beliefs to be true calling this life.

Or even better; this thing with Karen could have taken a very remarkable, very beneficial , very encouraging and very much needed turn to bring Karen some dignity to herself if the writers had of made Karen’s baby someone else’s, anyone else’s but Zac’s. The writers including Tyler Perry could have taken the steps to give Karen a life apart from Zac and she could have moved on with her and her child. It wasn’t necessary for Karen to be pregnant with twins and from two different dads. It did not add any more drama or suspense but instead it became predicable and degrading. Creative writing would have recognized that this was the opportunity to create a whole new storyline for Karen therefore bringing something new and fresh to the show. To give Karen that chance to break free and move on. Instead the writing team (Tyler Perry) wrote the twins in fear of losing the viewership if Zac were sorely the father. This way with the twins Karen is still connected to Zac but Karen had to suffer the Oprah effect of you get a baby and you get a baby to appease the Karen/ Fatima divide in that no one got what they wanted. This was a golden opportunity for Karen’s farewell to Zac because she would finally have gotten to be a storyline all her own.

Zac and Fatima are toxic but it's toxic in the way of toxic communication. outside of their bad communication they aren't that toxic. most of their fights or the breakups were all bcuz one of them or both let fear and thoughts lead to assumptions instead of just having a conversation. For example when zac came back to Fatima's apartment and hayden sent him a voicemail of Fatima saying trash things about Zac but it was all fake to see if hayden was listening to her calls and Zac instead of coming in the house and presenting it to Fatima and saying hey i got this message of you saying this and play the audio he lies and lets Fatima think he slept with Karen so she would leave him. If he had just played her the audio that problem is cleared up right, then as she would've called her friend then like she did later at the hotel after he left. And Fatima is horrible at assuming the worse because of her Ex that did her so wrong that in the same event she already had his bags packed so if Zac had maturity to just talk and play the audio then you have an issue of him being hurt that she packed his stuff and had no faith in him, which i don't fully blame her because he did sleep with Karen the same day he was laid up with her in her home. But as far as toxic overall, I don't think they are a toxic pairing i think they have Toxic communication that they need to work on and be more mature to just have a conversation instead of assuming and i think they have Toxic people around them that they allow to affect their relationship.

In season 7 of sistas episode 1 or 2. Zac tried to talk with Fatima about Michael and she didn't want to discuss it. So, when he brought up getting full custody she felt some kinda way.
I really like the dynamic they have in sista’s but for me, that dynamic is not the same in Zatima. In fact, it’s made me like her character less because I feel she is not fair. During her interactions with Zac, she can react, speak and withdraw her emotions however she wants but I feel if Zac were to do the same thing to her, there would be serious issues. Plus the constant walking away from situations is annoying. I can empathize that she has a hard time trusting her significant other because Ian toyed with her emotions, but it’s just unbearable to watch at times. We are all rooting for them but when she does that, it just irritates me. The man is trying and you’re trying to jump ship every chance you get.
Zac and Fatima's relationship is not toxic, but it is in danger. This is Zac's second relationship that is being defined as toxic, as of now I don't think Fatima had that problem. At first Zac didn't really have any direction and was with a woman, Karen who put him down and made him feel less than nothing. Although Fatima had a different approach in their relationship, Zac didn't seem to appreciate it, even though he saw the difference in the two relationships, but he appeared to take Fatima for granted, and ignored her when he should have validated her as being his partner. That goes with grabbing her hand when he rushed to the salon on fire, demand respect for her when others disrespect her, demand other's recognize her as his mate, instead of sitting on the sidelines and being mute. Recognize Fatima when he needs help, especially with his son, then tell her she'll have to trade her car in for a minivan, get used to cooking meals and expect her to watch his son while he goes out with the boys. Fatima has faults also, but it's like can't see her forrest because Zac's trees are in the way. The danger is if Zac don't include Fatima his decision making she in may get tired of dealing with Zac's baggage that is life changing and decide to start her life fresh.

They both have communication problems. See if written in a space where writers know how to write love they could get thru it without looking toxic. But Tyler Perry writing doesn't allow love to develop grow progress. I love Fatima and Zac r Zatima but I can see why ppl say they r toxic. Because they r written in a way that they may progress n one thing but regress n 9 other things. Unless Tyler Perry brings n a writer who knows how to actually write love this is what u will get with Zatima
Unfortunately, the writers have the final say in all the relationships! It would be nice to see positive black love on the screen be it a couple or singles navigating the single dating life. Drama could be dialed back from 10 to a 5. Ratings will not drop, more than likely improve.

I think he was when they were trying to get the spin off going but it wasn’t too bad bc their storyline was good. I think Andi gets the treatment most of the time Sabrina storyline ran out. Since season 5 felt like to remedy the complaints he made Zac more immature and Fatima insecure which is regressing their characters too much

Zac and Fatima's relationship is real life lifing. No relationship is perfect, but they know how to come to an understanding. But, for some reason, the writers keep Zac crossing boundaries. If Zac didn't cross boundaries so ofter, he and Fatima wouldn't have any problems. Fatimavhas never been the issue in any of their issues. I couldn't hit like on this video because it wasn't a good observation of their relationship. Zac is a man, and a man should never hit a woman, but, as far as Zac getting slapped a time or 2, he needed it. He overstep boundaries, which is a total disrect!!!

Please tell me when Dani and Preston had a healthy relationship? Everyone talked about Danni being the problem in the relationship, but she wasn't alone. So no one realised how Preston used to "silence" Danni? When it was time to talk, Preston always had to speak first and insist things needed to be done his way or not at all.

All relationships have problems. That is not what makes them toxic. It's how they handle the problems. Fatima often times does not communicate as well as Zac. Zac should not always be the one apologizing and explaining himself. Fatima wants, but doesn't need Zac and they make sure to show that. I think it would be nice for her to show a little vulnerability and show him she needs him also.

Fatima and Zac's r elationship is not toxic, I say this because regardless to how much they have been going through, they are still together as a couple. Fatima and Zack has that chemistry that makes a couple a couple. They are there for each other just as a couple should be. Every couple have their issues what really matters is how they get through those issues is what makes them stronger or walk away. I feel that Fatima and Zack are here to stay.
Jeremy, I really hope you read this post. Please, please do Zac and Karen. Because Karen and Zac is sort of Zac's beginning and end of toxicity, so when you look at how Fatima fits in, she's sort of in the middle of both of his toxic relationships. She has sort of been drawn into this toxicity that Karen and Zac already had established based on the fact that she got involved with Zac. So I think that that would be an even better video and more informative. Because Fatima is in the middle of it all. There was no way for Zac to have a healthy relationship with Fatima because he had all of these unresolved issues coming freshly out of a very toxic relationship with Karen. IMO (emphasis on my people) Zac and Fatima has become just as toxic as Zac and Karen. No Fatima does not belittle Zac the way that Karen did but Fatima does lay hands on Zac (domestic violence) and calls Zac stupid and no Zac does not cheat on Fatima but he disrespects her, neglects and ignores her feelings, shows favoritism for Karen over Fatima, and takes Fatima’s kindness for granted. He disrespected Fatima calling her a ‘’B’’. Also telling her to leave the hospital when he was there with his mom and then Fatima running up on him with Connie in the position that Fatima was sent away from. He disrespected Fatima when he embarrassed her at the fire sight acting like Karen was the only woman in his life. Zac neglects Fatima’s feelings when he doesn’t consider her in his impulsive decisions he makes, like when Zac decided all on his own that he was going for full custody for little Mikey not giving any thought to whether he should even discuss the matter with Fatima. Not considering how this would affect her life because for Zac ride or die just means that Fatima is always gonna be ok with whatever he brings or does, so why even bother asking or discussing. It was obvious that he should have discussed it because Fatima was caught off guard by Zac’s intentions, but as usual Fatima went with it and this is just one incident. And Zac doesn’t realize that every time he allows Karen to call Fatima a ‘’B’’ in his presence he is choosing Karen over Fatima. There is no way that Zac should always shut Fatima’s response to Karen down with his no we not doing that to Fatima while he stands there and allows Karen to call his fiancé a ‘’B’’ and he says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to Karen at allow. Would any woman feel as though they were the top girl while the ex is being ALLOWED to come at her while her man says NOTHING. C’mon now, that’s some ish. Zac came at his brother, mother and friend about calling Fatima a ‘’B’’ but can’t address this matter with Karen. At that coffee shop Zac (that Zac shouldn’t have been at) should have set Karen COMPLETELY straight on the ‘’B’’ ish and so much more but he instead walks on eggshells around Karen because he’s scared of Karen and therefore Fatima gets told to stop her remarks instead of Karen. And the worse was the disrespectful way that Zac treated Fatima when he intentionally told Fatima the lie that he had slept with Connie to purposefully beak Fatima’s heart knowing that it was the deal breaker that they had discussed and agreed upon. He took their relationship to a whole other level of degrading by hurting her so that her heart would break but then wanted her back. Zac was well aware and knew that she would be devastated but yet did it anyway and added he ‘’F’’ her real hard as though to stab Fatima again. That stuff plays with your mind. I mean Who does that??? Fatima has lost herself in helping Zac find himself but what has Zac lost??? With all of the drama, chaos, discord, and disrespect along with red flags screaming in your face in only a 6 month, who really wouldn’t call this toxic. And Devale Ellis who said that Zac and Fatima’s relationship is built on a foundation of lust and he personally wouldn’t enter into a relationship with that much trouble. Zatima and Zac are in a new relationship and what they are facing is growing together pains and deciding to go to therapy will help. We bring into our relationships our character flaws and trauma from past relationships but I do believe we will see growth as the relationship continues, most of the contention comes from the outside interference. They will make it!!
If you look at the extent of Zac and Fatima's relationship on both Sistas and Zatima, TP built their love story and had us fall in love with them. Then, he decided that no couple is like this in real life without issues.
So TP threw in Hayden, Karen, Heather, Deja, Connie, and even Zac's drug addicted family. Take all of these characters out of their relationship, and you have a loving couple, but not enough drama for the 2 shows. Sadly to say he made Zac look the worst, but even with that, we as viewers love them as a couple.
So, then new writers come along (which TP explained on Crystal's podcast why he brought in new writers) and not only are they trying to keep Karen apart of Zac, but also having her disrespect Fatima. So, naturally, viewers are sick of it. There is no storyline for Karen, outside of Zac. No loving relationship between Zac and Fatima, and not having them moving forward with a positive and loving relationship.
So, yes, it's a TV program, but they could make this couple an example of black love. After all, they've gone through enough, and it's time to take up their pen and write some positive and loving things for Zac and Fatima.

I think that Zatima's relationship is toxic in a sense that Zac does not facilitate a safe space for Fatima to be secure in their relationship because he's still entertaining other women (Connie, Deja and Karen). Whether or not he does it in Fatima's face or not but he does not move like the man that asked her to move in with him and wants to be a husband to her. In order for your woman to remain the same person you fell in love with or to not put up walls or fight your battles you have to rise up to the occasion and by actions allow her to operate in her femininity. I see nothing wrong with fact that Fatima said Zac must be nice to Karen but you have to set boundaries because why are you still touchin on your ex? Zac himself cried over a hug with Fatima and Ian at the coffee shop so he has got to be mindful of his actions. Being with Zac has forced Fatima to revert back to the person that she was before I imagine, always have to fight to be heard and to be respected. Karen calling her out of her name, Connie and Deja playing in her face could be shut down by Zac if he can just have authority in his voice to tell them that is not something he will allow and you know what he can do that without being mean to the other ladies. It is not Zac's fault that he comes with baggage but he should be also accommodating his woman that is choosing him and his baggage. It is not fair to say just because she is choosing to stay then she should deal with how things are and not be affected.

I still feel these two need to understand that right now it only the two of them that matters, especially if the goal is to get married. Otherwise they will always be victim of outside forces that try to pull them apart.

I honestly have been feeling like Zatima is CJ & Janine in reverse. They got together quickly and their drama came quick, but I feel like it's going to eventually level out.
I don't agree that another woman would be in Fatima's position because it was Fatima being more aggressive with Zac when they first hooked up. Zac was just trying to work at the airport and get his life together through Chain Breakers. He wasn't even thinking about getting with a woman.
Zac does need to become emotionally intelligent when it comes to being head of household. He has it down as far as paying bills, etc.

I would actually like to see a video on friendship dynamics. I find it very interesting the Sista Circle has been friends since college. Zac, Nathan, and Tony have been friends since they were kids. Just like we learned Angela and Fatima have been friends since elementary. Makes me think that's how long they've been friends with Belinda as well. Zatima's friends communicate . Sista Circle is surface level communication. I feel like Tyler made those dynamics different on purpose.

I have to disagree with Devale about Zatima being life because in no way shape or form would Devale and his wife go through this BUT I think that what Devale said is DEFINITELY a PERFECT example of what Crystal was talking about when she said that the black community has normalized toxicity in that Devale sees this as life but just not his life. He has already said that he wouldn’t be in a relationship like this in a video that him and KJ Smith did together when they were discussing Zac and Fatima. Sometimes I think that Devale talks because he knows that people are listening to him and he makes it sound good. And it’s sad because this is exactly the stereotypical beliefs that those outside of the black culture associated with black love and the black community and Devale has only reinforced their beliefs to be true calling this life.

Or even better; this thing with Karen could have taken a very remarkable, very beneficial , very encouraging and very much needed turn to bring Karen some dignity to herself if the writers had of made Karen’s baby someone else’s, anyone else’s but Zac’s. The writers including Tyler Perry could have taken the steps to give Karen a life apart from Zac and she could have moved on with her and her child. It wasn’t necessary for Karen to be pregnant with twins and from two different dads. It did not add any more drama or suspense but instead it became predicable and degrading. Creative writing would have recognized that this was the opportunity to create a whole new storyline for Karen therefore bringing something new and fresh to the show. To give Karen that chance to break free and move on. Instead the writing team (Tyler Perry) wrote the twins in fear of losing the viewership if Zac were sorely the father. This way with the twins Karen is still connected to Zac but Karen had to suffer the Oprah effect of you get a baby and you get a baby to appease the Karen/ Fatima divide in that no one got what they wanted. This was a golden opportunity for Karen’s farewell to Zac because she would finally have gotten to be a storyline all her own.

Seeing this black woman bring about changes in her life to stabilize herself before her babies come but now they are keeping her connected to Zac as though that has ever been entertaining. We only have ourselves to blame because we have given Tyler Perry the alibi to keep writing this trash. He already brags about the show being number 1 on BET and the ratings are through the roof which is supposedly a testament that it is a show that is working just fine the way it is, so why should he change it or give anymore to it when it appears as though people love it. Tyler Perry knows how to benefit by using the same thing over and over and we support it so why focus on anything new. It’s what’s made he a billionaire.

Zac and Fatima are toxic but it's toxic in the way of toxic communication. outside of their bad communication they aren't that toxic. most of their fights or the breakups were all bcuz one of them or both let fear and thoughts lead to assumptions instead of just having a conversation. For example when zac came back to Fatima's apartment and hayden sent him a voicemail of Fatima saying trash things about Zac but it was all fake to see if hayden was listening to her calls and Zac instead of coming in the house and presenting it to Fatima and saying hey i got this message of you saying this and play the audio he lies and lets Fatima think he slept with Karen so she would leave him. If he had just played her the audio that problem is cleared up right, then as she would've called her friend then like she did later at the hotel after he left. And Fatima is horrible at assuming the worse because of her Ex that did her so wrong that in the same event she already had his bags packed so if Zac had maturity to just talk and play the audio then you have an issue of him being hurt that she packed his stuff and had no faith in him, which i don't fully blame her because he did sleep with Karen the same day he was laid up with her in her home. But as far as toxic overall, I don't think they are a toxic pairing i think they have Toxic communication that they need to work on and be more mature to just have a conversation instead of assuming and i think they have Toxic people around them that they allow to affect their relationship.

Bad childhood, drugs around him, not defending his woman to the public, blowing up at people after holding stuff in, like when he went to the restaurant and grabbed Karen and fought Aaron. When Fatima went on those dates with light eyes, she had fully broken up with Zac so not cheating, but Zac came into the relationship with childhood baggage like will, baby mama drama like will, lost temper from misplaced anger like will.... Then you have Fatima that comes from a drug family type like Jada who used to sell drugs herself, the independent i don't need a man vibe like jada, the i love my man but i'm my own woman thing. I really like the dynamic they have in sista’s but for me, that dynamic is not the same in Zatima. In fact, it’s made me like her character less because I feel she is not fair. During her interactions with Zac, she can react, speak and withdraw her emotions however she wants but I feel if Zac were to do the same thing to her, there would be serious issues. Plus the constant walking away from situations is annoying. I can empathize that she has a hard time trusting her significant other because Ian toyed with her emotions, but it’s just unbearable to watch at times. We are all rooting for them but when she does that, it just irritates me. The man is trying and you’re trying to jump ship every chance you get.

Zac and Fatima's relationship is not toxic, but it is in danger. This is Zac's second relationship that is being defined as toxic, as of now I don't think Fatima had that problem. At first Zac didn't really have any direction and was with a woman, Karen who put him down and made him feel less than nothing. Although Fatima had a different approach in their relationship, Zac didn't seem to appreciate it, even though he saw the difference in the two relationships, but he appeared to take Fatima for granted, and ignored her when he should have validated her as being his partner. That goes with grabbing her hand when he rushed to the salon on fire, demand respect for her when others disrespect her, demand other's recognize her as his mate, instead of sitting on the sidelines and being mute. Recognize Fatima when he needs help, especially with his son, then tell her she'll have to trade her car in for a minivan, get used to cooking meals and expect her to watch his son while he goes out with the boys. Fatima has faults also, but it's like can't see her forrest because Zac's trees are in the way. The danger is if Zac don't include Fatima his decision making she in may get tired of dealing with Zac's baggage that is life changing and decide to start her life fresh.

It is how many see black love as some badge of honor that two ppl gotta go thru so much unnecessary drama to get to love and by time u get thru all the drama the love is beaten down and hanging on by a thread. Fatima and Zac r not written in growth but regression. Fatima has insecurities that Zac doesn't give her a safe space to acknowledge them. Zac doesn't know what a healthy relationship looks like. They both have communication problems. See if written in a space where writers know how to write love they could get thru it without looking toxic. But Tyler Perry writing doesn't allow love to develop grow progress. I love Fatima and Zac r Zatima but I can see why ppl say they r toxic. Because they r written in a way that they may progress n one thing but regress n 9 other things. I think he was when they were trying to get the spin off going but it wasn’t too bad bc their storyline was good. I think Andi gets the treatment most of the time Sabrina storyline ran out. Since season 5 felt like to remedy the complaints he made Zac more immature and Fatima insecure which is regressing their characters too much
Basically, he should give some of the drama on zatima's back to other couples to make it a tad more balanced

Zac and Fatima's relationship is real life lifing. No relationship is perfect, but they know how to come to an understanding. But, for some reason, the writers keep Zac crossing boundaries.
If Zac didn't cross boundaries so ofter, he and Fatima wouldn't have any problems. Fatimavhas never been the issue in any of their issues. I couldn't hit like on this video because it wasn't a good observation of their relationship.

Please tell me when Dani and Preston had a healthy relationship? Everyone talked about Danni being the problem in the relationship, but she wasn't alone. So no one realised how Preston used to "silence" Danni? When it was time to talk, Preston always had to speak first and insist things needed to be done his way or not at all.
Late Season 1 they finally got on the right track and early Season 2 was when they were peak DESTIN IMO

Danni insecurities was showing very early on in their "relationship" and Preston avoidance of Danni's boundaries as well. Then the "beg me gal" and his family coupled with Danni sexcapades with "the buttlicker," "El Fuego," "Jonah," and "Que," oh but I forgot, they weren't together in a committed relationship, because when Danni wanted to talk about that, Preston shot her down again, and didn't want to have that conversation.
