    Great to see a video that touches on how to properly setup the foot controls. I was not a fan of the stock brakes on my Suzuki B1250 until swapping pads for EBC.

      Thanks Shaun, Suspension Sag video is out Saturday, in it I cover spring rates and the difference between progressive and linear springs. I am interested to know if anyone has made the jump from stock progressive type to linear and what their feedback is.

    Hey brother, I am in the market for a vfr1200f. Semmes to be super hard to find, especially in GA. Would love an opportunity to pick your brain on what to look out for seeing as you just bought one. Also, maybe you have a lead on where I can find one?Anyways, Maybe we can ride sometime once I get another bike. Thanks for your content, it's str8 forward and VERY informative. I look forward to speaking w you!

      Hello Barrett, The VFR1200F is a hard to find bike, probably why Honda switched to the 1200X since not enough people were buying them. You need to look in populous centers where dealers would have stocked and sold them. I've also seen them traded to BMW and Ducati Dealers. I found mine through a national search on Kijiji. Good luck on your search and I do have a video on the channel that covers buying used bikes and what to look for. It was an early attempt and i will probably remake it at some point but there are some really key things discussed if long winded th-cam.com/video/LBzM3BscNpo/w-d-xo.html

      Was it real? I thought it was an acted out scene due to the placement of the fallen scooter in the "cinematic" shot and the two different left hand positions, one bandaged, and then later, from the same angle, unbandaged and showing the damage.

    Thank you! I can't believe how many bikes I have tried 😳 and not enjoyed. I seem to have to pull out my boot then shift sometimes missing my gear I 🤨 wanted..feeling foolish That and accidentally pinched my fingers.....
    Yes there is a real reason 😉

    How did your Triumph Sprint GT compare to your current VFR1200?

    • @RodRidesWrenches
      @RodRidesWrenches  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Clint, the VFR1200 has better ergonomics and has a very smooth top end speed that is a lot like the ST1300. The Triumph makes good power but the extra 40hp is noticable on the VFR. I will be doing a bit of a breakdown in the future comparing this bike to others. New video out tomorrow, Ride Safe!

      I have no affiliation with them but you can check either Helibars www.helibars.com/products/helibars-handlebar-risers-for-honda-vfr1200f-vfr1200r.html
      or Moto CNC moto-cnc.com/handlebar-risers/honda-bar-risers/vfr1200-risers for options. I do not have this problem on the VFR1200 but did use Helibars on my K1300S P and MotoCNC Spacers on my VFR800. Both worked well.
