How many people are enjoying Bob Wells videos. Well can you look at the number of thumbs up ? I looked at the number of thumbs up, ( and I've not seen him in person, and don't know him from Adam ) and just for fun compared the number of subscribers to the number of subscribers and something doesn't add up.He doesn't know how much we all out here enjoy him, his videos and his wealth knowledge. Let's tap onto his thumbs up to let him know how many of us out here enjoy him, and/or enjoy his great, and positive videos people. Each one of us need to do what we can to make it a better and positive world for all. 💖😊🤗👍
Hello S, yes, you should go for it! You can begin at a small scale and buy a 30 Watt solar panel and an inexpensive power bank, say 20 mAh (don't be afraid of the numbers, most new cell phones take about 2,800 to 3,200 mAh to recharge from zero to full). This base knowledge will allow you to become comfortable with the technology and expand your system as your comfort level and need expands. Now you will have power to run a cell phone if the power fails and possibly a small USB fan at night if needed. Solar energy isn't perfect, but you'll be FAR ahead of those without it.
Another excellent review, Bob, thank you! I'm glad to see improvements being made on these products. I appreciate you telling us about them. Hope you are doing very well. See you next video!
Thank you Bob; for all the information you put out here for us that are not as solvent as the rest. I've watched many times and keep learning. Though I may not have moved forward yet, to everyone else's eyes; I am learning and trying to organize in my brain 🧠 what I want to do in the future. Again thank you. You really matter and do change lives for the better. God bless you. May the Great Spirit hold and shield you in his arms✌️🥰
With regard to USB ports. I like the idea that you can still get power when your power station is else where. But I prefer just plugging in the devices to the power station. I love using the power while the sun is shining.
......compare the number of subscribers to the number of thumbs up....... This poor guy works so hard on bringing us information that is so valuable, and works so hard on putting out the videos and editing them and everything. 💖👍
Thank you for all your videos. I'm not a traveler like you an a lot of folks out there; however, it's good to know all of this if I ever decide to or if it becomes a necessity.
Sunpower puts out good stuff and their panels put out what's on the box. Much respect for Twelseavan! i saw another youtube review of a 120 watt Twelseavan solar panel and it put out whats on the box which is quite amazing to me
I desperately want to go solar for my '65 Shasta Compact, Beatrice. And I want to be able to do what Jim does and just plug her into the system and be set!
Thank you, appreciate the good information. Solar is confusing to me. I need a new panel. I have a Dokio 100 watt panel but I lost the charge controller and can't find a new one.
I have this panel and i'm going to build a backing support so it does not bend and break. I will use some thin plywood with a hinge so I can also fold it and store it away along with the solar panel!
I would love to get together and a solar panel one of those little plug-in thing so I would use it all the time so thanks for sharing I love your videos one of these days when I can get my truck fixed I would love to convert it into a camper van SUV whatever it is so thanks for sharing your videos with us I love it 💖💖🤠🤠
Love the video bob....looks like we have troll tho I'm not 100%sure but the picture looks like you.....can't find a way to send a screen shot....last video I JUST COMMENTED ON..Hope it's not u lol if so, ooops and yay I'm a winner!!! Enjoy your morning

I’m planning on doing the same thing once my father passes away . I moved in with him 3 years ago to take care of him and I don’t want the responsibility anymore of paying utilities . I want to take care of just me and my dogs . I raised 5 kids and now taking care of my dad . I’d like to buy a van and build it out like so many others are doing these days . I don’t know Jack about building anything . I don’t know Jack about solar panels either , but I’ll learn . I want to do some traveling I got family in California and I’ve always wanted to go there , so I think that’s what I’ll do . I live in Ohio so I’ll pretty much get to see a lot of the country . But I’ve been thinking about tiny living for a long time . I wish u the best .
i think i would rather have a full system rather than a portable solar generator, with a ship to shore plug in and have one of these as back up if it is worth the cost,, thank you for the tips and info
Hi Bob, My brother just gave me a AC/DC 1000w- 2000w inverter. So far that's as close to solar as I've gotten. This inverter only has AC outpputs (3). If I get a battery do I need to have a power station like the Jachery also? Or is there something else that I could purchase that would give me the 12v and USB ports? My brother has never worked with solar so he didn't know. Thanks for any help. I will also have to purchase the solar panels as well. Thanks for showing us this Twelsevan. Don't know which one I will go with yet. Blessings, Teri
An inverter only INVERTS 12v from battery(-ies) to 110v (like household appliances use). Bluetti or Jackery has inverter built into the unit. Bob has LOTS of videos on solar systems (haha) or check out Will Prowse.
I just got my second solar panel. It was a lot heavier than I thought. the first set was the forty five watt three panel set up.the undre watt panel did not come with any thing. these both are harbor freight. I by local due to credit problems. no fault of my own.
They mostly do, but about 12 years ago they had MC-3 connectors. I don't know if there were MC-2, but really old panels just had junction boxes and you had to wire them up.

good point. I had been buying necessities like solar panels, solar generator, etc in case of power outages

Been using this very same solar panel for a couple of years. Does a great job.
Still holding up?

Thanks Bob, I always enjoye learning from you!!
They have a 120W 4 panel folding version out now. Cost me $201 with taxes this week. Easier to handle than the 2 panel version shown here.
Thanks for the info 🤛🏾
Great explanation of the various concepts of portable solar panels and charging stations. Thanks
The beginning 🤣🤣great video ! 😀
Fun explanation of the communication between the battery pack and charge controller! Thank you, Oh, Great Mystical Demystifier!🧙♂️
It is very true. The power management is a voting scheme for request and response!
I have these and they are great. Use as standalone with the built in usb. Also use to charge ecoflow
Oh Geez Bob I just wrote asking you what I need and here I found this you are amazing. My Bear 🐻 Van is confused as to what he needs to power my CPAP.
Thank you and I really appreciate the follow ups.
Nice to see solar technology continues to evolve. I started with a couple of DOKIO’s a few years ago. This looks better.
I desperately want to go solar for my '65 Shasta Compact, Beatrice. And I want to be able to do what Jim does and just plug her into the system and be set!
Really enjoyed this video and topic. Would love to see this live.
I just can’t quite comprehend all the connections.
Can you do this at RTR?
Thank you, appreciate the good information. Solar is confusing to me. I need a new panel. I have a Dokio 100 watt panel but

I have this panel and i'm going to build a backing support so it does not bend and break. I will use some thin plywood with a hinge so I can also fold it and store it away along with the solar panel!
Also there's thin corrugated sheets of plastic which are extremely light, easy to cut which might be useful.
Your Amazon link does not link to the panels in this video.

YES!!! go with the total package and someone else to put it together.
Thank you for ALL the info on solar.
Great info, as usual! Thanks!
Not available now on Amazon! I like it. Would be nice if it was waterproof too.
They are waterproof. I have 2 different panels from this brand and both are claimed to be waterproof. I haven't tested that claim though
👍👍Love the edit too! 😎
What type and size of battery do you recomend for this panel? Thank for for a great channel and the great info!
Could you please do another video on coping with lose and lonelines.
Bob thank you for this info.
What camera and mic set up do you use Bob ? Great video thanks for all you do !
I use a c pap machine .. will this be enough?
Always good content
Where can I find the follow-up video?
Very helpful. Thank you.

You can buy gift cards for Amazon or prepaid debit Mastercard and visa to be able to use online.
I stay in the northwest
It's cloudy and rains
How would solar work here
Thanks for the review. I need to get me a more efficient fold up panel for my Bluetti ac50.
If I wanted to use this for my mobile home could I just set it up inside on an open southern facing window?
Love that idea.
thanks bob, on the solar panels info..
Gypsy J van..
thanks bob.....something bad has happened to the " Dome life" channel..i dont know what !!.
Gypsy J van !
You missed the current measurement after joining the two mc4 connections.
Nice vid. Thank you😊
You welcome
does it have diode pack that helps with shade interruption?
Hi - can you provide an Amazon link to that battery that you show early in the video that has a PD port? Thanx!
I’m 72, sooooo confused! But thanks, I’ll keep trying.☦️👩🏻🦳🇺🇸
This was such fun
It has nothing to do with the post but I'd like to know if the RTR and WRTR will be on in January? Any infos i can get anywhere? Thanks!
Check HOWA website or Facebook.

All of those connectors is kinda confusing. Maybe a lesson on connectors would help.
most of it is use the plug that matches your solar generator. The plug sizes are all diff, use the plug that fits
Yep @ salt
I want one
What is the black box on the back of a Twelseavan folding panel? I need to replace. Thank you for any help.
I thought they all had mc-4 connectors.
They mostly do, but about 12 years ago they had MC-3 connectors. I don't know if there were MC-2, but really old panels just had junction boxes and you had to wire them up.
Price has already gone up to 219.00 unfortunately.
I would prefer to buy American-made, if possible.
Voice not good on video.
Full speaker is a whisper with a bit of wind.
I buy all " Anker" acc.
Please, no flames
