Before you pay a fee... (Think)...Anne frank l'm sure would rather you give your money to a worthy charity. If you're still inclined? Then honour her by going home and teaching you're children and grandchildren hatred has no place in society.
This makes no sense. You can support charities and visit a place that holds so much importance and teaching. The fee doesn’t just go into people’s pockets, it’s a fee to keep the home open and operating for tours. This is not an amusement park, it’s a learning experience for people all over the world. Silly to make such a statement. Please encourage people to go visit this historical place and read Anne’s book to remind people what hatred can do, but also love.

Visited and it was awesome. Just a FYI- if your traveling with very small children toddler to under 5. Parents you can purchase 2 tickets online or at the gate together. However, I would Not recommend taking small kiddies inside. One parent can watch the kids in the cafe that’s attached to the building while the other visits. And when mom or dad is finished mom or dad can have access to the front without waiting in long lines. Just show ticket with a special stamp. I witnessed lots of moms n dads that wanted to visit Anne’s house. Makes sense. We visited we had no kids but a couple had a small child that screamed wanted out and his parents refused. This packing Frank house house is emotional for lots of visitors. This isn’t a museum for small toddlers because space is so tight with so many visitors. It was beautiful and seeing Actress Shelly Winters Oscar at the end before the cafe entrance🎂☺️
I fully agree. Once I went to Westerbork where a lecture was being held by a survivor. Sometimes I couldn't hear what she said and it was difficult to concentrate because right behind me there were a small child screaming and crying the whole time. That kind of egotistical parents I really despize, there is no fun for small children whatsoever when you visit these kind of places and you ruin other people's experience.
I'm reading 'The diary of a young girl' right now.And I just can't describe the emotion that I m feeling now. It's just beyond everything everything.......
I went to amsterdam on March 2019 and the most disappointing thing is I never get to see this because my parents originally wanted to plan on going there but then they cancelled it and back then I didnt even know who Anne Frank was and I’m hoping to go back to Amsterdam too see this after covid ends
After months online, I finally getting a booking. It was super early. 8.00am or earlier..we were the first ones in..virtually had the place to ourselves. Funnily enough I came away with an immense feeling that the people who risked their lives to feed and keep the families informed in the attic....were true heroes...
I visited the Anna Frank house . I was alone. Could't keep my tears away. An old woman aproached me, and embraced me. She said my tears were a gift to Anna. I've never forgot that short moment.
Thanks for that. There are many interesting documents, of course, but one of the most interesting (and chilling) is the actual train selection list seen in the background at 2:43 (yellow sheet), listing the entire Frank family in alphabetical order. Anne is number 308 on the list, I believe. Out of 1019 total. They were on the very last train that left from Westerbork to Auschwitz.
I don’t believe in a god. A higher power yes. But not a god that cares about humans or this planet. How could you? They literally almost survived and by an inch the entire family was starved and murdered…
We will visit Anne's house on Nov 26th. Last October we went to Berlin and visited Sachsenhausen concentration camp. I wish every parent would take their children there. We only really learn our mistakes from looking at our past.
I visited the house in 2012 but what was also very strange was that I was with my granddaughter to get her drivers license and in line in front of us there was a couple and I was talking to my granddaughter about Amsterdam and this man started telling me that he had gone to school with Anne Frank and had lived right down the street from her house. He did not want to talk much about it but I thought it was interesting that somebody remembered being in school with her
I can’t wait to visit there one day. From the videos it looks like they kept it in such amazing condition to the point of where everything looks frozen in time
I was a person who don't like reading books, novels ,etc.In our school there was a magazine published for us ,it was a 40 page kids magazine and there will be a surprise waiting for us in the last page of this magazine which was a scratching box ,my main intention in buying this book was just for scratching that box and not for reading. However one day I just simply turned the pages of this magazine just for fun , suddenly I came across the image of a little girl ,there was something spcl about this image and I was just stuck in it, with a curiosity I started reading that page about this personality and it was something which changed my life to a high extent.I came to know that there is a diary written by this person and from the next day I was in search for this particular book published but however I was not able to find it,my journey continued for a month and at last I got that book and daily I spent most of the time reading this one ,and at last finished reading this one with a spcl kind of feeling deep inside☁️ This was the book of a the brave little angel Anne Frank, who changed my life🙂 And now I am addicted to our story and started reading a lot of books 🤗

So many thoughts came to my mind while walking through the hideout place. It was definitely a wish come true. The people in Amsterdam are so nice. I had a magnificent time. I did buy my tickets online a month in advance and when I went in June there was not that big of a line, perhaps because it was drizzly during that time.
I don't think of all the misery, but of the beauty that still remains✨ Anne Frank🤍
For nearly 20 years I have walked past but never gone inside.
I love her writings qoutes and I am amazed. She write with a heart and such a pure. She has a purpose and it brings out to the world. She documented the happenings during ww2 and Adolf hitler died after her just about a month. Her story captures my heart, what a beautiful person she is. Condolences for them and a huge respect.
Thank you for the video tour. I went there a couple years ago. They kept yelling at me for taking pictures. So I’m glad you got away with video. 😉
R.I.P ANNE😥😭😭❤️
I still cant believe that THAT was the same house that Anne Frank was in, and I still can believe that THAT diary was the diary the she wrote in.
I can't believe you're grammar.
@@devilslettuce8264 Ironic, as you just said “you’re grammar.”
You’re is a contraction of “you” and “are” meaning that you just said “you are grammar.”
The original commenters grammar is far better than yours, so kindly shut up.

We did Anne Frank as a play that was over many days for ELA (English language arts) and today was the last 2 scenes and it truly was beautiful and a learning experience of what they had to go through.
Thanks for posting. I was lucky to visit the house 2 years ago and there in the gift shop I bought the book and I finally read it now. I didn't really remember the way the house looked anymore, and I wanted to refresh it in my mind now that I've read it.
The story of Anne Frank still makes me teary. This video made me so teary as well. May she rest in peace!
I read the Diary of Anne Frank many years ago.And now there is a movie. Anna Frank was such an amazing young lady. It was only her father, Otto Frank who survived. He kept her daughter's Diary for a very long time. Then, went on to publish the book . Anna was an amazing young lady. May God bless her and all the people who were with her🌹🌹
💗💜
One day Anne will live free in paradise without fear..❤️
My biggest wish is to see Anne's mueseum....I'm an Indian....I don't know how much times i read the book....
My goodness! Thank you so much for sharing!❤️❤️ that place was so SMALL,Jesus! Poor people 😢.
Mastered in writing the essay on the topic 'The Chatterbox'🥲
'Kitty' was her only friend with whom she could confide in😪
She will always be alive in my heart. 🪻
“As I've told you many times, I'm split in two. One side contains my exuberant cheerfulness, my flippancy, my joy in life and, above all, my ability to appreciate the lighter side of things. -Anne Frank's final words in the book/diary
I wonder what happened to the man who betrayed their secret
According to the most reliable source, it was a a man called Willem van Maaren. He died in 1979, I believe, without being convinced.
Though there’s also evidence to support the guilt of a woman named Ans van Dijk who was known for betraying Jewish families. She died in 1948.
@@Emilie13love well, before jumping on the hate bandwagon
I dont know what was going on then cuz i wasn't there and I dont know what kind of pressure the traitor was under
Karumoto Art I’m not trying to spew hate or anything. Just trying to educate
@@Emilie13love oh no.
What I meant was im not going to say" Willem van Maaren, rot in hell you nazi bitch" cuz i really don't know what was going on back then
I believe the SS officer who made the arrest claimed that the informant had the voice of a woman.
i am handicapped, and in a wheelchair, and i am so bummed i can't visit!
You can still visit, Have someone carry you up the stairs and down the hallway and fold your wheel chair and bring it up behind you.
Depending on what type of chair she has, it may not be work, plus the person would have to be strong enough to carry her.
Sadly there is no possibility of having anyone carry you. It’s far too steep and narrow
I'm American I'll gladly carry you if you need just like we did back then 😉✌
take the virtual tour of the house. google it. it has all the furniture too. much better than the real visit (empty rooms)
I live in the netherlands (there is her house) , and i visited it, it gives me so much emotional vibes..it is so wonderful..
Anne Frank y Margot Frank siempre en nuestros corazones ❤❤🙏🙏😪😪
Hii sweetie
saya dari indonesia dan saya sangat mencintai buku anne frank..kisah hidup yang meneteskan air mata.. salam perdamaian 🇮🇩🇮🇱
This is awesome to see many people in the comments quoting Anne Frank. She definitely touched the hearts of many
So much emotion overcame me when watching this video. Powerful.
I started crying watching this. I very much would like to visit the house soon. I know I will cry all the way through. 😢💔
I wish I could have known to known her she was very brave !💕🥰
"Paper has more patience than people"
It touched me
I visited the Anna Frank house .
RIP to Anna I hope she is in peace now
Im 17 and I don’t know what rock i was living under to not clearly know this beautiful girl. Rest in peace🥺
😔
We will visit Anne's house on Nov 26th. Last October we went to Berlin and visited Sachsenhausen concentration camp. I wish every parent would take their children there. We only really learn our mistakes from looking at our past.
I think it was otto frank who survived
Yes
Otto and Miep
Baby Girls xox and Kraler
Poor guy lost all members of his family
I wonder how he felt after that 🤔
He was the sole survivor and later turned over Anne's diary to Dutch authorities after WW2 ended.
Watching a small light right now. An amazing series by nat geo.
This is just incredible one day I will visit myself before I leave this earth!
I'm literally watching A Small Light as I'm reading your comment.
He did not want to talk much about it but I thought it was interesting that somebody remembered being in school with her
I read the book about 2-3 months ago and this is a place to put on my bucket list of places I’d want to go sometime during my lifetime
I have a lesson in English currently , named..
"Anne Frank:The diary of a young girl"
Its amazing and heartbreaking at the same time..😔
Such a remarkable young lady whose legend will live on in our hearts forever xx rip lovely girl xx🥰🥰
ever since i heard about this ive been wanting to go
I can’t wait to visit there one day. From the videos it looks like they kept it in such amazing condition to the point of where everything looks frozen in time
It's truly sad that after everything she had been thru, she died from a bacteria infection .
Happy birthday Anne 99th birthday happy birthday🎂🎂🍰🍰
I was a person who don't like reading books, novels ,etc.In our school there was a magazine published for us ,it was a 40 page kids magazine and there will be a surprise waiting for us in the last page of this magazine which was a scratching box ,my main intention in buying this book was just for scratching that box and not for reading. However one day I just simply turned the pages of this magazine just for fun , suddenly I came across the image of a little girl ,there was something spcl about this image and I was just stuck in it, with a curiosity I started reading that page about this personality and it was something which changed my life to a high extent.I came to know that there is a diary written by this person and from the next day I was in search for this particular book published but however I was not able to find it,my journey continued for a month and at last I got that book and daily I spent most of the time reading this one ,and at last finished reading this one with a spcl kind of feeling deep inside☁️ This was the book of a the brave little angel Anne Frank, who changed my life🙂 And now I am addicted to our story and started reading a lot of books 🤗
may this angel rest in peace. 🙏
Caperucita Roja y El diario de Anna Frank son mis 2 fantasías preferidas.
the death trains....
😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭
this is so awesome. Like we are doing a play on Anne frank in class right now and earlier this year I found out Anne frank is literally my cousin so when I saw this, I immediately clicked!
I looked up Anne Frank, she wanted to published a book. Though she never got to do it herself, someone made that happen for her.
Her father did it.
