I'm not sure if y'all have a store called "Hot Topic" in your mall? We have them in TN, and I remember when they used to sell similar dolls like that. (Or it could have been a store called "Spencer's".) They had different ones, little boys and girls. Each different one had its own dark story to why they were so sad. I haven't seen them since I was a kid in like early 2000s.
