Knowing how Amity had to grow up in a cruel, loveless environment. (Because of Odalia) And Camila would probably be a mother figure to Amity, since Odalia never treated her daughter the way she should've.

This is EXACTLY the kind of interaction I want with Amity and Camilla to have, something that has Amity know that Camilla isn’t like Odalia, far from it.
This also pretty much displays my headcannon regarding how Amity may initially act around Camilla due to Odalia’s influence on her. She may feel obligated to approach with the same personality her mother expected from her, but after everything that’s happened, I don’t think Amity consider’s Odalia her mother anymore.
Well there’s a difference between being a mother and a mom, just as there is between a father and a dad. Odalia will always be Amity’s mother, but she was never her mom. Alador is her father, but it’s only more recently he’s becoming her dad.
If you’ve ever seen Guardians of the Galaxy 2, there’s a line that says “he may have been your father, but he wasn’t your daddy.” Same goes for in Avatar: The Last Airbender. Ozai may have been Zuko’s father, but Iroh was his dad.
So Odalia may be Amity’s mother, but Camila will be her mom. Giving her the unconditional love and support only a mom can give.
