These 4 boys participated in Thailand School Star by GMMTV (Fourth was the winner from the boys category), and it's good that GMMTV made this request happen.
I, too, appreciate how Mama Principal handled Tinn's sexuality: her suspicions turn to confirmation which then morphs into acknowledgement. I'm ready for the Principal to tell off that teacher for discouraging her son from pursuing his happiness and basically telling him that he's embarrassing the school and her.
At this point everyone one of these actors are leads in this show cause they pulled out all the stops this episode the emotions were everywhere in a good way but the core is that they care about one another and their dreams and will always resolve their issues. GMMTV this is the best casting you have ever done cause everyone played their part very well.
Aside from all the good commentary (as always) you guys have, I'll just add that both Tinn's parents are talking and having an input about Tinn. One parent has some worries that they share to the other and then the other hears it out and gives assurance and put their child first! Mom indeed resolves her issues on her own but with her partner giving her that comfort and support, very much like what Tinn is to Gun! btw, best takeaway from this reaction is the elongated "NEEEEGAAATIVVVE AFFIRMATION" on Nolan HAHA
I got a bit emotional during the blowout scene on the trail to the temple... It made me remember similar moments I experienced in highschool with my closest friends (except we never made up as quickly as these guys lol).
Same here. Honestly a big blowup like that was and has always been my biggest fear. Especially that part with win and gun. I used to have very low self esteem before I met my friends and I was always afraid that I'm not good enough of a friend and that one day they would just realize how lacking I am, blow up at me, and drop me like the burden I am (I'm very bad at angry confrontations, sue me). Luckily this kind of thing never happened. What DID happened though was sudden stagnance and silent treatment.. but that kind of thing was what I could handle, and after giving them space and realizing that I may lose them if the shit keeps up, I ended up brute forcing an at least reasonable discussion and luckily we worked things out. I'm still friends with all of them even until today 😅😅

I happened to read a translation of the novel on Wattpad and let me tell you the series is so much better………this is a first for me as 99% of the time I prefer novel version but the fact that I prefer series just says a lot! I won’t spoil it for y’all it’s not hard to search novel translation if you wanna read it……honestly worth reading at least once

Spoiler avoid scrolling down if y’all don’t wanna know Ok ok so Tinn is toxic at the start and treated Gun like a slave (the way the story starts it’s as though Tinn/Gun had a one night stand) but issues arose later where eventually Gun becomes his slave does whatever Tinn wants. Pretty much the intro to series’s is very similar to the novel but the characters personality is not …….plus a lot of scenes were cut. The Gun volunteering to be a slave was actually cut short in the series compared to novel but some scenes like the funding/ going to Guns house meeting the mom is similar however the context was more of a forced/ unwanted vibe. Tinn doesn’t have that cute/ innocent wanna love you vibe in the novel and instead is cold/ total Tsundere/ demanding with no consideration of Gun at the start though it changes probably toward middle end of novel when there is some progress with Gun. As for Gun his personality is similar to series but alot more dumber I feel. Sound technically was always part of the band from the beginning and there was always hints he had a crush on Gun/ Tinn felt a rivalry with him. Nothing really ever happens and well he doesn’t end up with anyone else in the band unlike the series. Actually the group loses hot wave like the series and well they all technically just do their own thing Gun doesn’t choose to continue university to be a musician but something else though with Tinn help he manages to get into the same uni as Tinn. As for Tiw and Por well they were a couple to begin with from the very start long before Gun/Tinn became a couple/ started fully fighting/interacting more. Just heads up their is no backstory to them actually nor how they got together. Also Guns dad is alive in novel and Tinn lives alone/ has his own place usually where he spent a lot of time forcing gun to cook/clean for him and his parents weren’t really strict as portrayed in series. I hate it here! Why didn’t they win HotWave?! To me, after they didn’t win, the story is going down-hill. It feels like a completely new writer wrote ep11&12! The whole trope doesn’t feel like I’m watching MSP anymore. Do they even realize they only got 1 episode to go? How are they even gonna wrap this mass in 1 episode?
I think they should have won after all they went through , then ep11&12 focus on Tin 's mom learning about his son's relationship and acceptance and then all couples got spend time together without more drama . This serie was supposed to be 10 episodes in total but later they changed it to 12 coz they didn't think it will be popular and loved by many so I think that's were the problem comes in . I still loved the scenes of Tin's parents and the last song .
Agree I think they made the wrong choice in having them lose Hot wave but oh well got a whole assed sad and angst episode. The song was good though. Hope they pull out a good finale next week but was disappointed a bit with ep.11🤷♀️
to me it makes sense as to why the writers decided to make them loose , if they had won they'd get arrogant and too full of themselves , as we all clearly saw the whole reason the fight exculated was because they lost hotwaves , they didnt even care that the got the oppurtuinity to play on a HUGE stage ,others would kill for that . they didnt even care that they got to do what they loved , play music , plus seeing their reaction they didnt even imagine themselves loosing therefore they thought the world would work to their favour which is definitely the case , so im pretty satisfied because it thought these kids a very big and important lesson in life

This serie was supposed to be 10 episodes in total but later they changed it to 12 coz they didn't think it will be popular and loved by many so I think that's were the problem comes in .
I still loved the scenes of Tin's parents and the last song .
Agree I think they made the wrong choice in having them lose Hot wave but oh well got a whole assed sad and angst episode. The song was good though. Hope they pull out a good finale next week but was disappointed a bit with ep.11🤷♀️
to me it makes sense as to why the writers decided to make them loose , if they had won they'd get arrogant and too full of themselves , as we all clearly saw the whole reason the fight exculated was because they lost hotwaves , they didnt even care that the got the oppurtuinity to play on a HUGE stage ,others would kill for that . they didnt even care that they got to do what they loved , play music , plus seeing their reaction they didnt even imagine themselves loosing therefore they thought the world would work to their favour which is definitely the case , so im pretty satisfied because it thought these kids a very big and important lesson in life
