May I ask about the online troll situation, I'm thinking of moving to western but all the videos keep saying worst online trolling in Britain and gang stalking, I dont even know what that is tbh, could you explain please?
Spent many happy day trips and holidays here from age 8 in 1966 up until around 2001. Moved to Wales and now with bad health have not been back but my son and his family visit often.
I am only 51 but can remember fondly so much on that video, the marine lake with the balcony’s , the Royal Pier hotel, the winter gardens as they were and of coarse the 1930s pavilion on the Grand pier, I was in a awful state when that burnt down.
@@tedf1471 Agreed Ted. We get this all the time from people who live in newer housing, holiday abroad, enjoy all the new health, social and modern innovations and harp back to a time they don't understand.
One of my favourite places. My father Paul Cossham grew up there, his father was the local dentist. I first visited in 1968 when I was 2, and have been back many many times since. This is a lovely montage, thank you.

@@susanmccormick6022 I think it’s bcos Weston has a lot of drug rehabilitation centres as it is tucked away, not near to any major cities, so a lot of drug dealers target the area knowing there will be a high demand, which as you can imagine lowers the value of the whole town.
This video is brilliant. Spent many a childhood vsummer holiday in various caravan parks during the 70's, 80's and 90's in Weston Super Mare. Music and exploding bricks is incredible to watch. Will be subscribing! 😁

I've lived here on and off since 1980, and it's so interesting to see the change! Grove Park was the original town, and apparently Jesus came to WSM with his uncle Joe of Arimathea, who traded metal with the Romans, and landed at Uphill!
Nice work, buddy! See, its stuff like this shows why I'd it'd be so cool to have a time machine. Some sort of invisible yet comfortable and safe platform 60ft or so in the air then just click back in 10yrly increments! Fantastic. If anyone has one, let's talk! Nice vid, thanks
Weston-super-Mare has the potential to be a very desirable town but they will need to try and reduce the number of rehabilitation centres which the majority of people in them are not from Weston-super-Mare. This does tend to reflect badly on the centre of Weston-super-Mare.
I only moved up here from the South West about 8 years ago. Does anyone know of films showing the building of, or driving around, the "Coronation Estate".?
This is a very interesting vid that popped up as recommended. Well what can I say. It doesn't take a genius to see that within living memory or just beyond, that town planners, neglect and economic change has been rather cruel to good old Weston Super Mare. I live not far away and I can say first hand that it is just so screwed up now. What was once a thriving tourist attraction where the locals could make a good living, has turned into a Ghetto. It's a broken town with no direction. A victim of bad rejuvenation concepts, plus an over feeling that nobody cares.
This is ridiculous - weston is not a ghetto. It’s not in it’s hay day anymore but in the past decade they’ve made notable improvements to the infrastructure.
