Oh the endless joys of fuckn around with your gear. Thanks for posting this up mate, you've just saved me some dollars. It's too easy to forget all the tiny adjusments and modifications needed behind the scenes to really make a kit work to its fullest. I'll stick to my Ops-Core system 😅
The ops core ALWAYS digs in on the rear sides where the Folds are. There is just no Remedy. It’s just always painful.. Both have Pluses and are better than 30 years ago…But, We’re Almost there🤙🏻🇺🇸
The Cam fit is more comfortable to use with the Comtac inside the helmet and fits lower? I use my comtacs II inside and the plastic lux Liner press the headset fitband into my head and set the helmet a little higher
thats cool, you just answered most of my questions. for now ill stick with my opscore and just shave down that front rigid foam section a little bit to fit my melon better
You're the first person I've found that mentioned the padding falling down by your ear causing issues with ear pro. I'm trying to figure out how to best adjust it to allow my comtacs to seat properly. Is there some sort of special mod you did to make it stay a little higher? I was thinking maybe adding another hole in the strap to route the bolt through or getting some peltor mounts that may add a little more pressure on the ears. Not exactly excited about the second option, I'd think that would introduce headaches. Any insight is helpful!
I’ll have to mess with it again, I had it in my helmet for a few weeks before I took it back out and went back to the opscore worm dial. What you can try is loosening the front two straps a little (ones that sit on your temple) and tightening the rear ones to make up for it angling the harness away from your ears. Since Im a lefty I cant buckle (most) chin straps anyway because the buckle messes with my cheek weld, part of the reason I went back to ops liner because I can get it snugged down and the helmet doesn’t try and nose dive towards the front with no chin strap buckled. I could easily order a left handed liner to solve my issue Im just ignorant 😂
@@RedactedGear I'll give that a shot, thank you! It's incredibly underrated how difficult it is to truly square away your kit lol I can't imagine doing it as a lefty I hope you get it figured as well!
I am not 100% as I have not owned any Mtek helmets, it may be possible if you have the hardware and the boa layout works with the way Mtek sets up their hardware on the helmet
I just picked up the Team Wendy Cam Fit Liner and it just came in today, it was a little different than what I was expecting but it seems to fit well. The one thing I noticed was since cables aren't stiff putting the helmet on sometimes you need to adjust the sides so they seat in the proper place. I wonder if Velcro can solve that.
Does the retention system get in the way of your hearing protection like Hard Head Veterans retention system does? I can't have any gaps in my headset pads.

A little late sorry but yo, happy 1k. You deserve it, keep up the good work

Been here since 400

It is removable! If you remove it there is velcro behind it so you can add a pad and gain some room!!

Redacted beer, biggest flexer on TH-cam that’s not a whole company.
Edit: meant to say Gear, I guess beer works too.
Hey why not both 🤷🏻♂️😂
Just got my first actual bump helmet and i'mma be upgrading its pads with team Wendy stuff
Do you have to remove the Lux liner from the ops core? I hate the occdial. Is this a ballistic or bump helmet?
Yes this removes the factory occ dial. your pads will stay but the occ dial is completely replaced with this.
I just installed mine and I’m trying to decide on running my comtacs under the helmet on the band or mount them on the rail. 🤔
sir do have stock? only part of adjustable chin trap?
Dose this BOA system works on a mtek helmet ?

Is the ops-core ach occ dial better than the tw?
Depends on what your melon is shaped like and what you want, I would suggest either or they are both awesome!
@@RedactedGear mine is more oval shaped. Not a wide head

It may help with that, I stick mine to the sides but they still fall down :/
Does this fit on mich helmets? Anyone know?
Yep I have seen them ran in Michs and Airframes!
Make sure you get the opscore hardware from wendy!
Cool video thank you
Thanks man!
