I am not using any drum module sounds as my module doesn't have any. 😂🤭 I use eDRUMin modules which is just a trigger/midi module and I use Superior Drummer 3 for the actual sounds. I built a pretty sweet kit using The Rock Foundry SDX from Toontrack. Again, thanks for the comment and hope you enjoy other videos on my channel.

Yea Mike, thanks for the comment. This mix... man... you ever work on something and everything is just aligning perfectly. That was this. I was making all the correct moves and choices when building out this kit that it felt like a dream. Probably the best sounding cover I have done and really fun to play! Yea, this one I think I came very close to the original drum track. I used The Rock Foundry SDX, smoothered on the reverb, some big compression, and poof! Instant 80's! Funny thing is this kit is the same kit I used on the Psychedelic Furs and Pantera cover...just different mixes! Thanks Bill...

When I furst heard it I thought it sounded fantastic and very close to the original. But comparing my version to his, I now realize that I got even closer to the original... but in all fairness, he was using an acoustic drum setup which is obviously much harder to replicate. (I think?) Still looking forward to the Mike Fournier comeback on TH-cam. I was listening to some Queensryche in the car the other day and I immediately pictured you drumming to the track. 😂 Have a great 4th brother. Rest. Relax. Refresh.

So I'm over in the corner listening to And Justice or South Of Heaven and thinking I've taken the musical high ground 🤣🤣. Seriously, the one thing is his set up got SO big, I think that's where I was looking in other directions. Every station had one of their songs on. Every other video was him. I can't imagine that level of success Bryan. That said, the "underrated" thing gets played out but Tico Torres is a drummer that probably should get a significant amount more recognition than he does. He hits so damn hard dude. And his bag of tricks........it's deep. Only saw them once but he broke into Latin grooves, did a hell of a solo & absolutely drove that band.
That is a plastic project box that I modified to hold my two eDRUMin10 drum modules. I have ditched the Roland TD-30 module since I only trigger Superior Drummer 3. I am currently selling my Roland module for future upgrades that hopefully will happen at some point. My drum cover in September talks a little bit about this...my videos are a little bit out of order right now. Thanks for the comment as always Jason!
