@18:25, you gain a scholar but used the wrong action space to do so (you didn't have the trader needed for that anyway). Keep up the great work, really enjoying these playthroughs. Orleans is one of my favorite games and am so happy it's being supported with expansions.
Thanks for the playthrough! I finally had the chance to pick up the Invasion expansion and am excited to try out the solo scenarios. I can see why these are so popular. Dead simple, with a lot of great decisions to make.
It also made me laugh as I was drinking coffee out of the exact same IKEA mug you were drawing workers from :)
I'd forgotten all about that mug :D I wonder where it went, it was my go to video mug!
@@slickerdrips It's the perfect size for drawing from for games like this, so I drink from the Space Marty one when I'm playing Orleans instead haha

Yeah, my daughter and I love the Invasion scenario even though we have never won it yet.
The co-op was the main reason I wanted the expansion - we've only tried it once though, need to get back to it! We didn't manage to win either, we just needed a couple of citizen tiles but ran out of time

there is a mistake at around 10 minutes. you cant place newly gained technology wheels immediately. you have to wait for the end of the turn after the actions

no thank you for the nice video :) i beat this scenario, but so far i cant beat the other 2 solo ones. any change you make a run through them as well ?
Of course! Might be a week or so from now but I wouldn't mind going back to Orleans :)

Great video! Amazing that you were able to nab 9 when it looked like some early choices were going to cause you to win. You spent far more time, it looked like, trying to pay for the tech tiles than if you had just gone for monks earlier. Still you knocked it out of the park. How does this scenario compare to the other 2?
At around 9:00, when you reach Event #5 (Income - twice your development status), you should have received 2 coins. Your development status is 1 from the moment you start the game. See main rules regarding development status.
Hello! I really enjoy your playthroughs. Good job! One question though You travel by ship in round 14. Is that legal? The picture looks like it prohibits both travel by land and sea, am I right?
That event is specifically "cannot use the Stage Coach." If he didn't use the Stage Coach to travel then it should be fine.
Cool video. I've never played this game. I thought it was more complicated than that. A good surprise ! I don't see any difference with the microphone, sorry...
Thanks! This is definitely the easiest scenario in the expansion (and this was probably my worst attempt at it :D ), the other two have more involved objectives. I might do a couple of extra videos of those if I get the chance, I love this game!

I'm not sure how much I'd replay the solo scenarios after achieving them, the main part of the expansion for us is the co-op Invasion mode
What kind of hand camera do you use for shooting vids?
It's a Sony CX450....I think
