The scene where Huang Rong is dancing in the cherry blossoms with Guo Jing watching her was really well acted. I actually fell in love... you could see the emotion for her in his eyes everytime it panned over and she was dancing with all her might for her guy. Lovely scene and the perfect song for it.
Also the scene where Huang Rong helped Guo Jing to restore his energy at the old inn while her father forced his diciple's kid to marry right away. When her dad played the flute which made Guo Jing having a lust mind towards Huang Rong, he wanted to kiss her. I found the scene extremely cute and their chemistry is amazing!
I am new to wuxia drama especially this condor heroes series. And i regret started by watching this version. Now i cannot watch the older ones because i think it won't be as good as this version.
I have watched Legend of Condor Hero 2003, 2008, and this 2017. They are all good. Just enjoy the journey of Guo Jing and Huang Rong. However, for this one, I’m disappointed of Guo Jing and 18 Dragon Subduing Palms. Really weak compared to other versions. Guo Jing should look stronger and his palms should be mightier.
for me, this version is the only one so far in par to the one in 1980. the rest, is just average (the reason is that I dislike excessive wireworks and CGI). Also, it uses the original sound from 1980 - it is the best

Yang Xuwen and Li Yitong had the best chemistry with each other of all the LOCH series.
