The 900 ip cap is just for the yz cds(aka hunter) It’s 1000 for Stalker and 1300 for Slayer. The soft cap on Stalker is 20% (according to wiki) and 50% for Slayer. Therefore in stalker for every 100 extra ip(for reference) you get an extra 20 ip. Same thing for slayer but 50 extra ip. 20 ip and stuff aren’t the most reliable at times but that small ip advantage goes a long way on those close fight you win by ~6 hp

isn't there a soft ip cap of 900 why are people wearing gear that's a lot higher ?
They can make a difference when they get 50-60 ip ahead.
