I'm going through that build and one particular are which definitely needs attention is the intake assembly and the main landing gear bay fit. It's worth paying some time dry fitting before glue application. As for the gloss finish I had a challenge getting the desired glossy lustre, which is typical from reference photos. With a base coat underneat, the gloss black would tend to result a little rough with a subtle orange peel. There is no way of polishing down the base coat or the blasé coat to a flawless luster given the intricate fuselage contours, so I had to resort to a good application of 2K clear coat to even out the roughness. I got the desired lustre, but at the expense of losing a bit on the crispness of the panel lines and rivets. I would like to know how you would have gone about this, maybe consider a build for us. Thanks
