Lol My dad learned about searching for things on Google when he purchased a Smoker for meat products and tried looking up different recipes on the internet he Googled the term "Smoking Meat" and needless to say he was very surprised by the results... his first introduction to Gay Porn... We still laugh at this story years later!
You are correct. Ford now puts plastic oil and transmission pans on their Mustang GT and Shelby. I understand they did the same with the Raptor. However, due to "issues," Ford has gone back to metal pans on the Raptor.
It is simply not true. Even if they may use plastic, there is also better and worse plastic. The better brand's plastic parts simply do not break nearly as often. I can confirm from personal experience that our Chrysler made car required more repairs for cheap plastic parts that broke than engine or other main components.
Why would you get that car. The owner put ghetto rims on it. Already a bad sign. Maybe check your cars before buying them. The Chrysler 300 isn't a bad car.
I have owned Ford, Infinity, Nissan, Saturn, Toyota, Honda, Chevrolet, Jeep, Dodge and many others. I also spent a brief period as a new car CDJR salesman. ALL cars have their issues. The 4 cars I mentioned first were the worst cars I have ever owned. The ford burned out O2 valves over and over at $180 a pop, and warped heads twice before I dumped it. The infinity cost me $700 to replace an O2 valve because it was located under the plenum, and it blew through trans-axles like butter. The Saturn wagon blew through an engine just after my warranty ended costing me $2500. I just traded in my 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan with 223000 miles on it. I traded it in because my family was giving me shit about it. I now own a 2007 Chrysler 300C Hemi. What a car! Such value for such a low price. My son drives a Lexus and expensive shit breaks on that car all the time. You roll the dice with any vehicle purchase regardless of brand.
USAFORMERUSMC good point... I guess my biggest gripe is them using breakable parts that are being pulled on constantly. It's just a matter of time before they brake. For a few dollars more, put the metal one in.
David Moreno oh as for the pink thingy. try using a PARKING BRAKE. when applied properly it takes all the pressure off the pink thingy. Also it makes you a better, more experienced driver. Use that on your new caddy. it wont break the blue thingy.
They get screwed over by the Germans (Mercedes), bought by Italians (Fiat), and now their joined by the French (Peugeot) to be called Stellantis, No more Original Chrysler its just Lit. Shit!
You think Chrysler care? All they care about is making their vehicles as cheap as possible, making them look good, and making them fast, after that, once you buy their products, you're on your own.
@@curtiswilson4737 it sure seems that way. It’s sad these companies don’t make durable products, they have the capability to do so. Thank You for your comment.
I used to own a 2006 300C. Sold it and bought a Lexus LS430 and oh my god what a difference in just about everything. My Chrysler felt like a 1993 Saturn compared to the Lexus.
Lol! Hilarious but so true. Why can’t we build a good car? I do have a 2020 Cadilac and I love it a lot. But I leased it so I get rid of it in 3 years max. Long term they don’t last. Love Lexus as well LS430 is a nice ride. I had the SC CONVERTIBLE for a few years and loved it.
This...just really seems like it's your car personally. I've been buying Mopar cars my entire life and never these issues. Every car company has it's own set of issues. Don't label it bad because of yours in particular. I've owned Chevys with issues and 1 Ford but I'd never right the whole company off because my car itself was a lemon.
David Moreno Its and issue yes. Hell yes. But...I had an LML Duramax mainly for work that you expect to be pretty good right? Nah. Little issues like cruise control taking a shit and not working, engine getting hot when it shouldnt, PCM failure, fuel pump issues and a few other problems I really don't wanna list. And keep in mind the truck only had 23k on it when I bought it. Safe to say I went right back to my Ram(just hit 400k on the engine and no major issues at all) All these companies do dumb things and won't honor or fix what they know is an issue. From personal experience Chrysler has treated me the best out of them all. That's not to say the other don't make good products though! I feel for you brother. It's really a shame they won't just fix a defect but don't let that shatter your who opinion of them.
KingInsvnity I totally get it bud, it's just my experience and my opinion. When they don't back up a $30.00 part on their top of the line vehicle, and they know that they have issues with it. I don't understand that way of thinking... look up little pink thingy and you will see what I'm talking about. Ridicules!
KingInsvnity I agree with this, Im a dodge guy through and through no questions asked, but my family has owned a few chevys and fords and they were good cars but they had certain problems, same as all the mopars ive owned, they were all good to me but had a few problems, every car does.
Jake 4.7 Gotcha! All car brands have service departments, probability because they brake down. I've been driving #Cadillac's now for a few years and love them, trying to stay with #Americancars. I've had no problems at all. My whole problem is #chrysler putting a .25 plastic part in a place that will be getting a ton of usage which eventually will brake and could create a huge problem and then not backing it up. It's not the money it's the safety, my wife or daughter getting stuck somewhere because of it. I ended up buying a metal part for it for $30.00 and installed it myself. That part should be metal not plastic. Thank you for the feedback bud. I appreciate it. D
I have a 300m pushing 320K miles. Never has broken down on me, only changed water pump tires and oil. It’s a fantastic car. Bought it for 4K at 190,000 miles 3-4 years ago. Very happy with the car and I’m saving for a newer 5.7 hemi.
The door handles usually break when when the doors are frozen shut with ice and people pull really hard trying to force the door open. This happens on many brands of car. It’s not a big deal to replace the pink thing. $30 and 20 minutes. Certainly not a reason to not buy a car. They are wonderful cars .
Yeah! I live in Orange County California. My doors don’t get frozen here and I don’t pull too hard to open the door. Regarding the pink thingy, it’s not that it’s easy to replace. It’s if you get stranded in the middle of nowhere because it broke.
I think you got a lemon bud.... I have a 300m, it's an 04.. I've never had an issue with it. But I do see where you are coming from when they made the 300c they started going cheap on everything it really started to get bad in 05, if you look at the small details of the 300m for example... the 99 steel mesh speaker covers, up until 02 they did that and there were dozens of other details, that were degraded in the 03 and 04 models I was fortunate enough to get a non lemon.... I've been debating on getting a 2010 300c what year is this one... (p.s. I'm chrysler all the way lol I'm unchangeable)
ww2fan18 its not just him...the internet is here to help you understand that your circle of friends arent the only people that have helpful experiences to share
sad thing is all the chrysler clowns that are in denial that come onto these comments and defend up and down that these cars arent crap and brag about it being problem free at 30,000 miles. so sad...
That "pink thingy" broke on my 06 300 and i took the shifter cover off to get it to shift out of park. I changed it myself and when I talked to Chrysler they said they built the newer ones using metal because of the plastic ones breaking, the rest of the issues with your car seem to be misuse on the owners part. One of the best cars we ever purchased. Plan to replace it with a newer version soon.
Yo i just copped a 06 300c a month ago. Any problems on the car i should worry about big issues? It has 160k miles the same thing happened to me but my uncle helped me and it was easy to move the pink thingy
Same thing g happened with me and my Chrysler 300. Just got off from working a gruesome 12 hr shift, and when I arrive to my car the gear shift wouldn't move whatsoever. Talking about very upset.
Marvin Byrdsong that’s my biggest issue, in your case hopefully you were able get home. I stated in prior conversations if my wife and daughter were in the middle of nowhere and that happened, I would be extremely mad. Not good.
I hate the people in the comments who are suddenly the rare exception. "I have an American car with 250k and it's perfect. No major repairs" bull.. fucking... shit love your video
One thing that should be mentioned to all Chrysler 300, or Dodge V8 owners that have vehicles 2005-2012. At 100'000 miles you should replace the radiator fan assembly. Especially if you live in a warm climate. The fan blades are known to shatter (after 100'000 mi) sending hard plastic shrapnel into your radiator. Fix it yourself before for $150 or spend $270 to $8000 after, for the Fan and Radiator on up to catastrophic engine failure. I got lucky. My car was running in the driveway when it happened. Radiator, Fan & coolant cost me $270 and saved a butt-load of money doing the work myself.
USAFORMERUSMC wow! God for you, your one of the lucky ones. GREAT ADVICE PEOPLE, READ HIS COMMENT, GOOD INFO TO KNOW THAT MAY SAVE YOU THOUSANDS. Thank You @usaformerusmc
there is a way to bypass the pink thing, but if you have kids or are old and dont pay attention to things its not safe to do as the car can then be put or taken out of park even with the car off and it can roll away. but if your paying attention its not a big deal.
Daimler crystler closed from bad customer service my 2001 dodge ram 1500 sport was bought new there it is very rusty and still runs I seen the dealer closed not to long ago my truck still has the original paperwork Chrysler gm and ford are going down hill with cheap parts so I like the old ones better
Hi David I've been trying to find the sight you said you got the pink thingy at in metal if you remember I would greatly appreciate it I have a 300 right now that is running great but I want to have that part ready in case this happens
Daniel Aguero good to be proactive, once you get the part it’s pretty easy to change. You can probably look for a video on TH-cam. Here’s a link to one for $19.95 which is what I paid for mine at the time.
David Moreno Thank you very much I haven't had any issues with my 300 as of yet but I would like to be prepared mine is a 2006 with a 3.5 and a 174,000 miles i am so sorry you had issues with your car . Thanks again appreciate you taking the time and getting back to me.
Looks like you try to open up the door in the wrong direction. I have had my 2006 300 touring for almost 2 years and have only had an issue with the starter. Got it at 84000 miles and it is now at 115000 miles. I beat it up everyday and it is wonderful.
Lol! That's funny, after having the car for a few years, I'm sure I know how to open the door. Even if that was the case, I don't think the part should be so cheap that it brakes under pressure from doing exactly what one would do to open the door. Pull on it.
Francisco Ribeiro welcome bud, I’m not trying to hurt Chrysler at all but if you know there’s a problem with your cars and it’s all over the internet “pink thingy” and they continue building it with cheap parts, shame on them. I replaced it with a aluminum part, they should be using the same to avoid people getting stranded.
the new ones have a better version of that shifter thing, I replaced my grandmother's on her 07 magnum. it didn't breake but, I went a head and bout the metal upgrade. so it Will never make her stranded somewhere. (for that reason)
Sheila King you can google Pink Thingy and you will see plenty of replacement. Here’s a quick link to one I found on amazon. Park Lock Out Pink Thingy Replacement Charger, Magnum, 300, Pacifica Spring Included www.amazon.com/dp/B00GMPLH0E/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_8U.qBbYPGGM9X
I feel your pain. I saw a video about the pink thingie a long time before mine failed; so at least I was aware of the issue and how to get it out of park. When the dealer tried to sell me a plastic replacement part, I said no thanks because another you tuber explained about the metal part. I’ve only had the drivers door handle fail, but didn’t find any metal replacement. Now I gingerly open that door every time. Had to replace the oil pressure sending unit a couple times, but the alternator about 6 times. The auto parts store won’t give me any more “life time warranty” because I’ve had so many fail.
Tom Sigler hahaha! You can’t blame them. Not laughing at you, just your distinction. I’m sorry to hear your going through these nightmares. You can’t make this shit up. Crazy!!!!!
TheRealDirtyDan that’s great news, glad it’s been a great vehicle for you. But in my case it was a very bad experience and Chrysler didn’t back it up knowing they had a problem.
My door handles haven't broke yet but I have had the pink thing you break on me and I had to tear my whole dash apart to get to the shifter to shift it so I could get it home then I figured out what it was that broke the little pink thing it didn't take me long either on the internet to find out what what it was and why it broke
richard cottrell that’s great news on the doors, what concerns me is if my daughter Or wife are in the middle of nowhere and this happens. I would be very unhappy. They should fix it with metal like I did so it doesn’t happen at all.
Yeah I couldn't agree with you more I would have to say I was in love with this car until I got one and now I am no longer in love with this car I still like the way it looks it's still a sharp-looking car but that's all it is a shark looking car
What company did you purchase the "metal thingy" from? Can add a link? I had the "pink thingy" brake on me a few years back. I'm certain it'll brake again.
I JUST LOOKED ON LINE, NOT SURE IF I PURCHASED IT FROM HERE BUT HERE'S A LINK.. www.partsgeek.com/gbproducts/DC/18229-05120080.html?DN&+Chrysler+300+Shift+Interlock+Latch+Dorman+05-07+Chrysler+Shift+Interlock+Latch+2006&PartsGeek+Google+Base&gclid=Cj0KEQjwhpnGBRDKpY-My9rdutABEiQAWNcslHpvrnXw9WTtyWPEg7Qsce9flRAMXPj1Sbu4BaQHgfAaAi7V8P8HAQ&ad=47433948132
I was planning on buying a used dodge charger v8 rt or srt. Everyone said it has problems. We have toyota rn. Does what u said apply to dodge as well or only Chrysler?
I’m not sure but I would definitely look into it, do your research. I would think the pink thingy would be the same. In regards to the engine blowing up at 75k I’m not sure. After the engine blew up, I googled it and notice a lot of people complaining about the same issue. Good luck D
Earl Rogers ahhh ok. I live in the middle East!! Tons of Toyota's here we ve owned Toyota's since 1997. So i just had a plan to be different and get an American vehicle as my dad once told me that American cars are super comfy ( he's sat in an old Buick in the 80's ) buicks are not available here and the ones here are imported.. guess I 'll just stick with toyota!! 😊😊
chirag somaraj somaraj I’m sure the Camry will last longer, Japanese build better cars now, it’s a shame that U.S doesn’t get their shit together and take pride in the work they do. That’s why Toyota outsells every other make.
I have a Chrysler 300 with 227 miles on it, and I love it! You have to change front end parts every 3 to 4 years. The inside is made cheap, there is a lot of plastic. No chrome door handles. get the V6 and you won't have all those problems.
i dunno. i like tge Chryslers. being able to buy a newer Hemi Engine is pretty cool. granted i only buy them cheap. All new cars are a ripp off. Retrofitting carscand making them better is kind of fun. Whiney people like this are why their are so mamy lawers involved in everything.
Paul Arbuckle we’ll noted, I’m not whining, I just think they should use a better part specially when it’s being used a lot and can brake and get people stranded. I replaced it with a 10-15 dollar aluminum part. They should do the same at the factory, specially if they know it’s braking and it’s a problem. Just google pink thingy. Lol
Was considering buying a 300C myself these past couple of days, kind of makes me reconsider by watching this video, thats for putting it out for all of us to see man
I can’t believe I am just now seeing this video. I have an ‘06 Magnum RT and I got the lifetime bumper to bumper warranty. I could write a book, and I probably should. And the story is full of contradictions. First the end of the story and then a little on the back but I need to put a TH-cam thing together. I think that Chrysler will be closed down, non-existent, out-of-business, kaput, by Jan. 1, 2022. I figure about three years for the full legal process, and the process informally started years ago when Mercedes got rid of their “nuisance company”. Second, my Magnum is by far the best car I’ve ever owned, and I’ve only owned decent cars, so it’s not like comparing to a well known piece of crap that isn’t even worth repairing after 100,000 miles. I feel like some of the best cars were made in the 60’s, and by 100,000 miles and about 15 years any pre-2000 car is showing lots and lots of wear. My car has 164,000 miles, and with a driver’s seat recover, the interior could easily be wiped down to appear “as new”. Even 80’s and 90’s Mercedes didn’t hold up that well. And when those cars broke down, they often weren’t worth repairing, because rarely did they make you addicted to them. So for years and years and I wanted a combination of two cars I had owned, a 1968 Ford Country Squire with the 390 engine, and a 1995 E320 wagon. I wanted a bigger Mercedes Wagon with about 100-150 more horsepower. Seemed like a few years later they made the Magnum, like they literally read my dreams. But the chronic and well known issues are each worthy of real investigation. Some are interdependent and the customers don’t realize that. How about the pinhole radiator leaks so slow that you’ll never know it has been leaking until it overheats? I’m on my 3rd radiator. But also 2nd water pump and second AC compressor, both directly related to extended operation with low coolant level. This also leads to the dropped vale seat, also rarely recognized by customers that the car overheated because of a factory defect in the radiators and ruined engines have been replaced at an average of about $8,000 and at the cost of the customer, and this has happened WAY too often. And that’s just the start. But since ,y car has the warranty, I rarely pay more than $100 when something fails. But that’s where it gets very interesting and contentious by how they test me compared to people who would otherwise have to pay for the repair themselves. Bottom line, people kept fixing these things because they love them, and for good reason. When they first came out, the Magnum was the highest horsepower car available for less than $30,000. And to this day, overall, you can’t beat the value. Anything comparable is over $50,000. And there aren’t many comparables. To get the LX wheelbase, you would have to buy a 7 series or an S Class or an A8, all of them with the “L” designation which costs even more. And even with a base V6 making over 300HP they don’t have 390 lb/ft of torque. And on top of that, all of those cars break all of the time too, and they cost a hell of a lot more to fix. The bigger issue is that those cars aren’t stuck in the chronic and widespread nature of the LX platform, and these problems, I believe, qualify for a claim under the Magnusson Moss Warranty Act, specifically the implied warranty section. Check it out. If there are lots of other people out there that know as much as I do about these interrelated issues so prevalent in these LX cars, then Chrysler is in deep, deep shit. I know it sounds crazy the comparisons I’m making, but performance and power and space beat most other attributes, and that is exactly why these cars are so popular, you feel like you are getting something special but paying only $25,000-$40,000 brand new. What would any of you compare with those cars? Bottom line. Daimler Chrysler used previous gen architecture and parts, made them cheaper anywhere and everywhere they could, yet some parts will most likely last indefinitely. And for that, we were all able to get a taste of addictive performance and addictive usefulness. Thank you Mercedes.
I guess if you take a good care about things, things will take a good care about you. I have my 2010 Chrysler 300c and its perfectly fine. Its a lovely car.
I agree Michael, it’s important to take care of your stuff, which I do. I’m not making this up though. Take 5 minutes and google “Pink Thingy” it’s all over the internet. I’m glad you haven’t had to deal with that. But now you know if that happens. You can be pro active and purchase an aluminum one amd replace the plastic one. Thanks for your comment.
@@DaveMoreno Before I got my car I was watching tonnes of content about it here on YT. Mostly people love their 300c and really baby them to the point those cars look like brand new ones. Everything wears and tears in time, so its a matter of changing parts, fixing things, making stuff look nice. However lots of people admit 300c has some cheap parts, especially interior. I personally believe the technology is so advanced that there are no "bad" cars nowadays. Although there are a lot of people who drive bad and kill cars just because they can buy another one. I hope your 300c will be in good "health" in no time 👍 Take care and many thanks for your reply 🤝😊
@@blondix811 that’s great info bud. Unfortunately I ended up getting rid of my car after the engine blew up at 75k. I did love that car though, one of my favorite cars I’ve ever owned. Glad yo hear your has been good to you. Enjoy the ride.
I have no such of problems with mine! I love it, it's the best! 2008 Chrysler 300C CRD. I bought it in December 2011 from Mercedes Romania, 0 km. Now, it's got 48000 km and 0 problems. I change the oil+filters every 9000km.
I had the same experience with our dodge durango. Horrible car overall, but in particular it was annoying that things that broke most often are small moving plastic parts. We fixed some of them on our own by using epoxy and literally making our own part except with a metal strip inside. Total garbage.
IT GET'S WORSE MY ENGINE BLEW UP A FEW MONTHS LATER EXACTLY AT 75,000 MILES, DO YOUR RESEARCH IT ACTUALLY HAPPENS OFTEN RIGHT AROUND THAT MILEAGE, I ENDED UP SELLING THE CAR WITH A BLOWN ENGINE FOR PRACTICALLY NOTHING, OF COARSE IT WAS RIGHT AFTER THE WARRANTY WAS EXPIRED AT 60K. I FEEL LIKE I GOT RIPPED OFF. #300C #CHRYSLER #chrysler #chrysler300
David, I'm a chevy/pontiac guy myself. Have you bothered to find out what other American Manufacturers are using plastic door handles? The answer is all of them. BTW- My Chrysler 300C Hemi is performing like a champ at 111000K with no end in sight. I only bought it for my business as I put on over 50K a year. I will post if I have the same experience as you. Although I must say. This vehicle makes me want to push it harder than if I was driving a Kia. The power is fantastic, and it is a pleasure to blow past the fools driving 65 in the fast lane. Just a tip. I use Prolong in my vehicles. I have never had an engine issue in any Brand vehicle using that product. Sorry about your bad experience with Mopar. I love mine.
USAFORMERUSMC glad your having a great experience bud, I'm sure all car manufactures are using cheap plastic parts, unfortunately I happen to be driving a Chrysler at the time. I'm more disappointed that they know it's a problem and refuse to fix it and or put a better more reliable part. People can get stranded if the pink thingy breaks, not acceptable. BTW - I know drive a Cadillac CT6 Twin Turbo fully loaded awesome vehicle. So I'm not anti American cars, I'm anti crappy cars. Thank You
Happened to me. Got it fix. Now all gears will be selected in the cluster causing no start, and I have to disconnect the battery to reset it. Window brackets broke, air control unit bad, clicking noise when turning on air/heater, bad catalytic converter, bottom seal for windshield came off. Worse vehicle I've ever owned.
I got a 2006 300c for my 17th birthday which was pretty recent and I was pleasantly surprised. Also it only has 60k miles on it as I am typing this but I can for sure say that I've ran into a bunch of small problems that are definitely annoying (my door back door handles actually were broken when I got it so I did something to temporarily fix them and also the heater wasn't working on the driver side but it was a pretty simple fix) but overall I really do enjoy the car. But I'll make sure to look out for these problems in the future because I'm sure something will happen at one point or another.
Yeah! The doors brake pretty easy. It’s a small cheap plastic part that brakes. I did love the car, drive great and loved the look. You may want to be proactive and purchase a aluminum part to replace the pink thingy. That way you won’t be stranded. You can replace it by looking it up on TH-cam. That’s what I did. Enjoy your car.
I'm about to spend thousands of dollars on this car... As in 2 thousand. Should I do it? If I had a garage. I would old school this thing with even a manual and a Mopar carb engine but can't right now. Should I still buy?
Tone Bebop I guess it would depend on the value of the car VS what you are spending. Just don't get caught up on spending more money than the value of the car. Makes no sense. Another factor is, will anything else go wrong? Sometime it's best to cut your loss and move on. I decided to sell my car for 5k, with a blown engine because I was starting to have issues and didn't want to spend the money and then have to put in a new tranny. Good luck. D
what probably led to your engine failure is what most 300 owners don't realize is that our cars drink oil, its not even bad piston rings its just because it likes the stuff. you probably ran dry and grenaded your car. i own a 3.5 and pretty much the problem with the 3.5 and the 5.7 are pretty much the same
my second guess would be that dodge knows that the rocker arm assembly and or lifters are faulty in our cars which makes our car tick loud on start ups. the tick is because a rocker arm assembly bolt sheers off and falls into places where its not suppose to be and leads to engine failure too. not saying its your case just a wild guess.
Our family has the same car and model and buyer beware. Everything was cheaply made and assembled and then lots broke after a while. Handles was the first issue (exact same problem). The pink thingy, our family paid a good dealership to replace the part with something of quality. Navigation/radio busted. Left rearview mirror burned. Trunk cannot stay open for the life of it. AC vent adjuster in the back seat broke off completely. Just a hot bloody mess.
Eren Salyer you know it’s a problem when you google Pink Thingy and it’s all over the internet. Haha the handles, The pink thingy them the engine. NOT GOOD!
Bruce T90 you can look on line for metal replacement, at the time I had issue there was only a few that carried it. Now you can get it in many places on line. Good luck.
I had a 2006 Chrysler 300. I had the same problems you describe, Door handles and the "pink thingie." However, I replaced my 2006 with a 2014 and I have had no problems with door handles or a "pink tjhingie." I like the newer car, although it is true that, in my experience, at about 75,000 miles you may have to replace certain parts of the front suspension (I have awd Hemi). It is also true that the 2.7 liter V6 (no longer made) was a disaster.
Carlo Williams I’m not saying for you not to purchase Chrysler product, I’m just sharing my experience. I believe I had a bad car and what made me put this video together is the lack of concern from Chrysler. If they know there’s problems with their cars they should back them up and fix them. If you decide to purchase a #Jeep good luck. 😊
I swear and I'm not joking or hating on Chrysler vehicles but I work at a company that makes the floor pan for grand Cherokee and the quality is horrible and when I tell the quality control ppl about an issue like splits on the some parts they're like " other parts will cover it during the assembly so it'll be hidden and Chrysler wont ne able to see it " go figure now the other suppliers
@@DaveMoreno the problem with Chrysler when Daimler said bye bye they had to be bailed out and no money for research and development. Hence why today they still build crap. That 300 today is still riding on the same platform from the early 2000s, most don't know that. Their cars are archaeic
My brother worked at a US plant that made helicopters. The country of Japan ordered one that had a hole in the body panel. They simply put a patch over the hole. The Japanese officials were smart and made them fix it properly.
I’ve had that issue and had to show the mechanic the fix I found online. My car has had TWO recalls to replace deadly airbags 💀 that could explode and kill at any time. No, they didn’t replace that pink plastic thing they KNEW about at the same time. I love my car buts it’s a bad girl kind of love 💕
mr mxtplx the airbag deal is scary, that was a many makes and models. Glad one didn’t explode on you. Hopefully the pink thingy won’t brake on you, that way you can keep driving your bad girl kinda car for ever 😄😄
I was just about to put the deposit down on a Fiat Chrysler and I just caught your video I’m in contact with Gararge to pay money tomorrow in the UK this is I’m going to cancel the product now I won’t be very happy about that thank you for doing this video Eddie UK
My pleasure, My intentions aren’t to hurt Chrysler but to inform people of what they may encounter. Chrysler should fix these problems that are obvious and could be dangerous. Thank You for your info, glad I could be of some help to you.
Well, I've owned my 2007 Dodge Magnum since 2008. I haven't had to replace one door handle yet. The shifter piece failed on me but I went with the Dorman metal replacement and haven't had any other problems. I've heard of early Hemis that liked to put flat spots on the cams but my 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited has 84,000 miles on it with no issues. Been driving Chryslers my whole life. The cars are made cheap because that's what people can afford to pay for. Go ask a BMW or Mercedes owner about dealing with plastic.
David Moreno I’ll be fair. I’m old school Mopar. I was a boy during the musclecar era, and was a born gearhead. I did turbo Daytona’s, high output PT GT 5-speeds, hell, I own three Dodge trucks, and a daily driver 300M. I refuse to touch anything newer than 2008. I won’t touch anything from the “Fix it again Tony” crowd. They did do something smart by using Toyota (Aisin) transmissions in the new Ram. It won’t help the electronics but the trans will be reliable.

planned ob·so·les·cence ˌpland ˌäbsəˈlesəns/ noun a policy of producing consumer goods that rapidly become obsolete and so require replacing, achieved by frequent changes in design, termination of the supply of spare parts, and the use of nondurable materials.
I am an autobody technician and from my experience 99% of vehicles have plastic components. Even the higher end vehicles. The door handle issue that is brought up is most likely due to it being incorrectly installed. If you know how the handle is installed and how it works, you can tell that the handles that have been replaced are either an aftermarket lower quality part that usually doesn't fit 100% to the oem part. It will almost look the same and is made from much poorer quality material. Also, who ever installed the handles could have cracked something on the handle and it worked for a little while but eventually broke all the way. As a chrysler 300c owner, I havent had to deal with the pink "thingy", but auto manufacturers are constantly upgrading and sometimes discontinuing a part due to constant issues. The maker of the video should have checked for a recall on that part as it seems multiple people have experienced the same issue. Also if there is a metal version of the pink thing that means chrysler knows of the issue and has a resolve for it. The Chrysler 300 model shown here was actually made when Mercedes owned chrysler and is evident with the tortoise shell steering wheel and shifter. Also the suspension system is derived from the c300 model from Mercedes. I dont know everything, just my opinion.
A lot of good info here, Thank You Ryan. Unfortunately Chrysler did know there was an issue with the pink thingy but at the time refused to replace the part at no cost. It’s not the money that bothered me it’s them knowing there’s a problem and not rectifying the problem. The handles broke because, again they put a plastic part on something that is constantly being pulled on like the shifter. Thanks for all your input it does shed some light on a few things.
Thank you, if it was just me and I was miss treating it I would agree, but it’s a big problem. All you have to do is type pink thingy on Google and you will see. My issue is Chrysler knows and continued making it the same instead of put of aluminum. Which is what I ended up buying for $30 and replaced my self.
Best decision he could of made, My engine also blew out at 75K miles. This just happened about a month ago,,After it happened I did some research and I found out it happens all the time.. I sold it with a blown engine...
I had a 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T, bought it brand new...transmission blew up the day I bought it after driving around, had about 100 miles on it. Got rid of it just after a year...
T90bruce, if you haven't found your answer yet, you can buy them from Billet Technologies. There is also a copy cat company selling them on eBay, and have heard that you can order the metal ones from AutoZone now.
REALLY, I went to check the auto tranny fluid and "No Dipstick" called the local Chrysler dealer and was told, Chrysler doesn't sell the car with a dipstick. But Wait, the owner must take the car to the dealership to have the tranny fluid checked. WTF, I smell a Cash Grab: So took it to a buddy's tranny shop. I was advised in 05 the 300 used some tranny parts that were failing, which an oil sample showed I was headed for an "Expensive Repair" - Every Car Manufacturer seems to make parts that are intended to fail, CASH GRAB intended. Now I know where the saying, "In The Good Old Days" comes from.
I've had an 06 c for 4 years now and not once has anything like this happened. The only issue I've come across is flickering headlights which can be expected from a 10 year old car with early HID tech. Maybe you're just a bit too rough with it. Either that or you've just got a lemon.
Mason Ooglstien good to hear you have yourself a good car, maybe I did get a lemon Mason. The issue I have is Chrysler not backing what they know is a problem. Google “Pink Thingy” Google 300 hemp blows up at 75k miles. Unfortunately I’m not the only one. Thank You for your comment. 👍🏼
Marcus S I hope not, that would be a shame. The plastic parts are on the door handles and the the shifter, called the pink thingy. I sure they have plastic everywhere but the shifter and door handles get a ton of use pulling on it, so it's just a matter of time before it brakes and your stuck somewhere.
we had a 02 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport. It was a good reliable minivan. Only once a year, something gets replaced. Which in my case wasn't bad. After 10 years when it reached 86100 miles, the transmission blew. luckily it did not happen on the highway. A new car was on its way so it happened on time. The new car was an Audi A5 Sportback
Thanks , great video. I’m selling my Dodge Caravan because it’s built so inferior that I’ve replaced the drivers side window regulator 3 times and I’m just waiting for it to break again. I bought a lifetime warranty but each time I have to pay a guy 50$ to do it. Now the interior door handle broke and that cost 50$ lucky I can do it myself. I’ll never buy another Dodge.
Sad to see, America should be building the best cars in the world. It comes down to always trying to save pennies. Trip over a dollar to pick up a penny. Unions don’t help either, it breeds laziness.
Having been an owner of American and Asian cars ( Chevy is the worst I would do , wouldn’t even get a Chrysler if someone paid me) , the refinement is so obvious in the Asian brands. Everything seemed well thought off while the Americans seemed like an afterthought for a lot of the interior.
Great points, they really need to get their act together. There’s a few cars that are done great but over all they need to get with the program. Sad to see, but I believe it’s a union problem, the Employees can’t get fired for nit doing their jobs, so there’s no incentive to be GREAT!
I have a 300 06'. Door handles never broke/"pink thingy" never broke. But I do say this is the only chrysler I'll ever own in my lifetime. The interior is cheaply made you'd think the early 2000's Chevrolet made it and just having problems with codes that come and go and affect my car. Even if I replace parts I know it's not going to fix or help it any better or longer than a year.
Did you ever look at the 2008 300 interior, they changed them by then...2011 to 2017 300 interior looks much better.. You know they changed right...They were not cheap before, just the reviewers needed to bash the car when it was new so they said it was cheap....Now people say oh yeah they said it,must be cheap ...Thats how it works...I do prefer the 2011 to current 300 S interiors !
@@DaveMoreno believe me my friend I know I have an 05 Chrysler 300 I'm in the piece of s*** right now I can't tell you how many things I've changed on it the door handles are almost taking a s*** right now
thanks for the info, my 2008 came to me through auto accident. I'm in the process of rebuilding it, and searching for problems that will happen down the road;
Bruce Junker that’s great Bruce, I would recommend changing the pink thingy with a metal one so you never get stranded. look it up on line, not to expensive. Not sure what you can do about the door handles. Glad this video will help you avoid any future problem. Good luck and enjoy your vehicle. 🙏🏼
That's not even the worst of it,, wait until one or both of your headlights go out,,, you think it's the bulb blown, you replace it but it still don't work,,, the actual problem is the TIPM which will cost $800 plus labor and programming.
WTH! that never happened, I got rid of the car after the engine blew out with pretty low miles. Sold it with a blown engine. Hahaha even worse than the headlights.
I have a Chry 300 limited 2008. Yes some cars have some problems... But l for one Never had a doors handle brake , Never had the Pink Thing brake. But this Chry is one of the most beautiful cars made. Ive got 93.000 miles on mine. NO problems with it. Some cars have problems , like oil pumps , over heating , etc ,etc. How do you fix that ? You go on line and check out the type of problems the car is known for.. Has I've said , No big or even little problems with my 300. I'd buy a other one in a heart beat !! Oh , mine has the 3.5L motor. Good luck with never owning a other great looking and running older Chrysler.. 😭
William Popov glad you’ve had no problems, I loved my car, the lines and look are awesome. I just wish the inside was a good as the outside... maybe I just got a bad one. Glad to hear your is perfect.
Now the "Pink Thing" has a computer attached to it and when that brakes it's a few hundred for the part, few hundred for labor and few hundred to get it Programmed.
I believe you and what about never on a Chrysler product they are garbage to me and now they own by Fiat and I've heard they make crappy Italian cars so I believe and I'm sorry Chrysler does not cover their warranty
Papi Chulo I know nine was, cants speak for anyone else, but my experience was not good. Between the pink thingy issue, door issues and then the engine blowing up with low miles, I’m not a fan of Chrysler products.
@@DaveMoreno I hear ya David. I used to own new the horrendous Stratus and Sebring. Worse cars ever made. Then later years switch to Honda Toyota. The build quality is impeccable.
I have a 07 Chrysler Pacifica limited awd. That pink thingy happened to me too. Luckily I was already in my carport when it failed. I bought a metal replacement part. Took me 45min and 3 beers later to remove and replace the new part. I would agree that they do use a lot of plastic parts. That being said it's my favorite car to drive.
robertleal49 that's awesome, glad you like your vehicle. I guess my problem is, if my wife and daughter were on the way to Vegas and it broke, they would be stuck in the middle of nowhere in the heat because of a pink plastic part they know has issues. I also replaced it with a metal piece, they should automatically have it made out of metal, then there would be no issues. Thank you D
You had a bad experience and you want nobody to buy it. If I buy a bad product I just dont buy it again not bash the company. I have a 09 almost at 100k miles only had to replace the battery and I have a 16 flawless. Try not to pull your handles like you king kong.
What about Ford and Chevrolet their cars have plastic on them too? It's what allows the prices to stay lower than some of the equivalent cars, want a well made vehicle? Go buy a Jaguar, or some European car, they won't be cheap, but they'll be very well made.
Wrong..BMW, AUDI, M-B have TONS of plastic parts under the hood-these break and cause leaks, fires, etc. Google the "BMW electric water pump" for a fun read-this electric water pump is plastic, and disintegrates in 4-5 years ($1000 replacment job).
I have the same problems with the dodge charger. The front end fell apart, also when you fill up at a fast pump it kills the engine after driving off a mile or so. a big safety hazard when doing 40 or so miles an hour. I fell for the American brands. never again.
Gary Piont wow! That’s crazy Gary.. sorry to hear you had or having problems man. I’m not down on American cars, I will continue to support our U.S auto makers but will make them accountable if they make a crappy product. Hopefully they will get there shit together. We have the technology to build a much better product than anyone else in the world, we just have to let them know our expectations. Look at Tesla for example, this guy comes along and makes all automakers look like idiots with his technology. #chrysler #gm #ford #tesla
Thanks for the reply. The charger is made in Canada. My problem is not the worker it's the management and scab engineers who try to save a buck. The pink thing was a joke and thanks to you tubers like your self I was able to do it myself. The owners manual told me to go to the dealer.I also went thru 3 radiators. The brakes are also a joke. I have a 98 jeep that has no where near the head aches. It also has better vision compared to the dodge charger.
Gary Piont major issues they know about and refuse to fix with the right parts. I replaced my #pinkthingy with a $15.00 metal part. #chrysler wanted to charge me $400.00-$500.00 dollars to replace it with another plastic pink thingy part. It makes no sense but that’s the crap these companies get away with. That’s why I did this video, to let people know what they are dealing with. The door handles broke numerous times as well, more plastic parts.
I had a dodge van that when It got wrecked it had 178k miles on it and still ran!!! it was a 2002 year model and only thing that ever went wrong with it other than the occasional dead battery was a bad fuel pump
Be careful searching "pink thingy" on google yall.

Guess what? Newer cars have nothing but plastic parts. Welcome to the new millenium. Has nothing to do with just Chrysler - it's all of them.
Chris I agree, more expensive and made cheaper. I guess they should at least put metal on parts that will be pulled on constantly.
Yup Chrysler is the perfect example of capitalism at its finest
You are correct. Ford now puts plastic oil and transmission pans on their Mustang GT and Shelby. I understand they did the same with the Raptor. However, due to "issues," Ford has gone back to metal pans on the Raptor.
It is simply not true. Even if they may use plastic, there is also better and worse plastic. The better brand's plastic parts simply do not break nearly as often. I can confirm from personal experience that our Chrysler made car required more repairs for cheap plastic parts that broke than engine or other main components.
@@StopFear it’s still plastic.
Why would you get that car. The owner put ghetto rims on it. Already a bad sign. Maybe check your cars before buying them. The Chrysler 300 isn't a bad car.
LOL! Ghetto wheels, not sure what those look like.. I loved the look of the car when I got it, nothing to do with how it was built haha.
NEEGA what a idiot maybe the guy wanted rims on them ....
Where did you get your ghetto rims from???
Yeah I wish they would at least make aftermarket parts out of metal. I just ripped the door handle off of my employers suburban last week.
USAFORMERUSMC lol! That's crazy, when they know it's a part that will be getting pulled on, it should be made out of metal not plastic. Haha
David Moreno oh as for the pink thingy. try using a PARKING BRAKE. when applied properly it takes all the pressure off the pink thingy. Also it makes you a better, more experienced driver. Use that on your new caddy. it wont break the blue thingy.
USAFORMERUSMC. How your 300 running thinking about getting one
Sad thing is the quality has gotten even worse since Fiat bought them out. Was never good to begin with but now it’s even worse lol
John Lowe that’s a bummer, they need to re evaluate. Lol
@@DaveMoreno Good luck with that theory.

I just got a GS430 like v8 VVT-i kaboom that thing smokes hellcats all day every day. Yakuza Style...
KingInsvnity I guess I have a bigger problem when Chrysler knows it's a problem and they don't back their product.
Hyns that’s awesome, happy to hear your car has not had problems. Hope it goes another 200k for you.
Chrysler/Dodge builds cars for looks that's it! No long term value at all.
Dee Harper very good point, because this car was bad ass looking.
I know a bunch of people who have had 300's and never had stupid issues like this. They all had normal maintenance issues.
Wes Chambers no lemon..I had the same issue

Wes Chambers same! Mine has almost 320K miles fantastic car!
sad thing is all the chrysler clowns that are in denial that come onto these comments and defend up and down that these cars arent crap and brag about it being problem free at 30,000 miles. so sad...
Haha! 30k miles, barely broken in and already broke down. Lol
oh and furthermore my aunt has a 2013 Chrysler 300 Touring and she has had no issues with it. period.
Brian Grant awesome!!!
Donald Hixon that’s great news.
Yo i just copped a 06 300c a month ago. Any problems on the car i should worry about big issues? It has 160k miles the same thing happened to me but my uncle helped me and it was easy to move the pink thingy

A Team that would be a bigger problem, they should just make it out of metal. I ended up buying one made out off aluminum and replaced it.

Lol! That's funny, after having the car for a few years, I'm sure I know how to open the door. Even if that was the case, I don't think the part should be so cheap that it brakes under pressure from doing exactly what one would do to open the door. Pull on it.

Crazy!!!!!
My 300C has 240k miles and its perfect! I think you just didn't care for yours!
TheRealDirtyDan that’s great news, glad it’s been a great vehicle for you. But in my case it was a very bad experience and Chrysler didn’t back it up knowing they had a problem.
TheRealDirtyDan bull shit liar

Good luck D
Earl Rogers I test drove the new Camry v6. Very fast and comfortable. Will the Camry last longer/ run more km than charger??
Earl Rogers ahhh ok. I live in the middle East!! Tons of Toyota's here we ve owned Toyota's since 1997. So i just had a plan to be different and get an American vehicle as my dad once told me that American cars are super comfy ( he's sat in an old Buick in the 80's ) buicks are not available here and the ones here are imported.. guess I 'll just stick with toyota!! 😊😊
Earl Rogers lol! I liked the look when it came out. Good point though. Thank You for the input. 😳
chirag somaraj somaraj I’m sure the Camry will last longer, Japanese build better cars now, it’s a shame that U.S doesn’t get their shit together and take pride in the work they do. That’s why Toyota outsells every other make.
Had mine since new and now has 140k on it with no issues whatsoever. Puts my BMW M5 to shame
Kris Barker awesome bud.
I have a Chrysler 300 with 227 miles on it, and I love it! You have to change front end parts every 3 to 4 years. The inside is made cheap, there is a lot of plastic. No chrome door handles. get the V6 and you won't have all those problems.
Dwayne jones great info guys. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
i dunno. i like tge Chryslers. being able to buy a newer Hemi Engine is pretty cool. granted i only buy them cheap.
Lol
Was considering buying a 300C myself these past couple of days, kind of makes me reconsider by watching this video, thats for putting it out for all of us to see man
Petar Petrovic thank you, I’m not saying don’t buy one but enter with caution..
Andrew Higdon nice thought out comment. Thank You for the info.
Can it do wheelies?
Old Croney's Garage anything is possible. 🤣🤣🤣
Has y’all coolant start boiling
I no longer have a Chrysler..
I have no such of problems with mine! I love it, it's the best! 2008 Chrysler 300C CRD. I bought it in December 2011 from Mercedes Romania, 0 km. Now, it's got 48000 km and 0 problems. I change the oil+filters every 9000km.
Grigore Radu that’s great news, happy for you. D
Thanks, man!
Grigore Radu your welcome.
David, do you have the diesel version in the US?
Grigore Radu gas, HEMI engine.
99% of Chrysler products are still abandoned in the road 1% made it home
Hahaha! That’s scary to think off. 99% is a big number. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I had the same experience with our dodge durango. Horrible car overall, but in particular it was annoying that things that broke most often are small moving plastic parts. We fixed some of them on our own by using epoxy and literally making our own part except with a metal strip inside. Total garbage.
StopFear that’s awesome, making your own parts is so cool, one way to do it.
What engine did you have?
Jim Rhine I had the 5.7 Liter Hemi.
Thank You
I also like the Caddies since they moved back to rear wheel drive. Nice Ride.
Lol that pink thingy surely is nightmare...
Booty Boots it is a nightmare, if it brakes your stuck and can’t shift. Lol
Good luck. D
what probably led to your engine failure is what most 300 owners don't realize is that our cars drink oil, its not even bad piston rings its just because it likes the stuff. you probably ran dry and grenaded your car. i own a 3.5 and pretty much the problem with the 3.5 and the 5.7 are pretty much the same
lunacystarcraft I wish that was the case but it was full of oil. First thing I checked. 👍🏼
my second guess would be that dodge knows that the rocker arm assembly and or lifters are faulty in our cars which makes our car tick loud on start ups. the tick is because a rocker arm assembly bolt sheers off and falls into places where its not suppose to be and leads to engine failure too. not saying its your case just a wild guess.
lunacystarcraft wow! That could be the issue in regards to engine, great point. Thank You D
I have a 2006 Dodge Charger. Built on the same from of the Chrysler 300. My pink part broke too! Very dissatisfied with Chrysler/Dodge
Gunnar Peterson that sucks, you can replace it with a metal one. Look for it on google.
And the fuel tank did something where whenever you refilled it, it would stall. We almost stalled onto a major road. Dangerous dangerous product.
Eren Salyer you know it’s a problem when you google Pink Thingy and it’s all over the internet. Haha the handles, The pink thingy them the engine. NOT GOOD!
Where did you order the metal part from?
Thomas Andrews yessss! That’s awesome, glad all is good on your new 2014. Enjoy it. 👍🏼
Make me scared af to get a FCA SUV (A Black 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee) but now I am scared...
Zack Benjamin wow! That’s a bummer man. It’s a shame. Thank you for the input Zach. 👍🏼
@@DaveMoreno the problem with Chrysler when Daimler said bye bye they had to be bailed out and no money for research and development. Hence why today they still build crap. That 300 today is still riding on the same platform from the early 2000s, most don't know that. Their cars are archaeic
Moe Anthony wow, I didn’t know that. What a bummer. Th for the info, good stuff man. 👍🏼
My brother worked at a US plant that made helicopters. The country of Japan ordered one that had a hole in the body panel. They simply put a patch over the hole. The Japanese officials were smart and made them fix it properly.
@@AStanton1966 Unacceptable, this is why the Japanese have now a better reputation
Thank You Dennis, There's hope.. Glad you have had a great experience with Chrysler..
Dennis Navarro that’s awesome man, I loves my 300, I was more upset because they wouldn’t back it knowing there was a problem. Thanks for the info.
i umm.. yeah. ok, make a pg about something you like, not harp on something you don't. that's just..you'll die of heart failure at 55 yrs old over it. k. lates.

All American Dream Chaser Yeap!
A car in general will give what you give it...but I feel you on the cheaply made products
Anyone that likes Chryslers are intellectually stunted.
Deadspace 801 hahaha!
Jay Leno can talk for hours of the superior engineering of Chrysler products. Maybe you aren’t seeing the whole picture?
Best decision he could of made, My engine also blew out at 75K miles. This just happened about a month ago,,After it happened I did some research and I found out it happens all the time.. I sold it with a blown engine...
I had a 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T, bought it brand new...transmission blew up the day I bought it after driving around, had about 100 miles on it. Got rid of it just after a year...
My 07 Charger dropped a value seat into the #6 piston. I'm debating on whether or not to put a new engine in it.
How much did you get for ?
@@layziebone2152 wow! Sorry to hear that. That’s awful.
@@ILLUDIUM_Q_36 I sold it with a blown engine for 5k.

Yes! I Belice all manufactures have gotten cheaper and cheaper. It’s unfortunate.
Totally agree. Sad to say.
T90bruce, if you haven't found your answer yet, you can buy them from Billet Technologies. There is also a copy cat company selling them on eBay, and have heard that you can order the metal ones from AutoZone now.
I hate that the transmission don't have a dip stick. Had order one on Ebay.
An update on my dodge 1500 sport. It kinda runs but don't move very well lol. I think a sensor. I'm gonna go and replace it with a 1999 didge 1500
That's a bummer bud, hope it works out for you..
@@DaveMoreno I hope so. The 99 dodge wasn't maintained very well. It was if it has a bad engine its time for a cummins lol

Haha! I May Take you up on that. Sam died correct??
Never buy American cars
George Da Boss they just need to take pride and build a better quality car.
The 2016's & 17's still got these issues??
Only once a year something got replaced? Thats awesum, was it the or wife that got replaced? lol, bad joke :)
i repaired broken door handle, by epoxy and screw and same with pink thing
Makan Tahi haha! That’s awesome. Great job.
Vernosifuel that’s a bummer, my door handles also broke. What a bummer.
I’ve owned two Chrysler products and your assessment of them is spot on! Wretched cars!
Yes, I currently have to finger my console to get out of park. LOL! I ordered a metal thingy today from ebay. What car(s) do you think are good???
Christopher J. I’m driving a Cadillac right now. So far it’s been great. I’m sure every make has their issues.

@@DaveMoreno believe me my friend I know I have an 05 Chrysler 300 I'm in the piece of s*** right now I can't tell you how many things I've changed on it the door handles are almost taking a s*** right now
thanks for the info, my 2008 came to me through auto accident. I'm in the process of rebuilding it, and searching for problems that will happen down the road;
I bought the metal one for 17$ replaced it yesterday 20 minutes
I had a 2005 300C and my back door handles broke off too. What I didn't know was that there were metal door handles. That was my fault.
Diverse One yeah, me to. They should come with a metal one from factory.
Well that's how Chrysler suckers you in to buying the cheap made "pink thingy" in the door my CHRYSLER,s radiator stoped exactly at 17,0000 miles!!!!
I like To see nothing I agree, my problem is more with the fact they put out a crappy product, they know it and won't back it up.
There is a Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep place in my town. I know now it means to dodge Chrysler and Jeep. All three are bad.
MICHAEL DAVIS banana that’s hilarious. Thank You
That's not even the worst of it,, wait until one or both of your headlights go out,,, you think it's the bulb blown, you replace it but it still don't work,,, the actual problem is the TIPM which will cost $800 plus labor and programming.
WTH! that never happened, I got rid of the car after the engine blew out with pretty low miles.
WTH? That’s a shame. Total robbery. People need to be aware. Thank You for sharing
I believe you and what about never on a Chrysler product they are garbage to me and now they own by Fiat and I've heard they make crappy Italian cars so I believe and I'm sorry Chrysler does not cover their warranty
K ROSS I know, time to start building a good car worth the money.
Chrysler has always been cheap
Papi Chulo I know nine was, cants speak for anyone else, but my experience was not good. Between the pink thingy issue, door issues and then the engine blowing up with low miles, I’m not a fan of Chrysler products.
@@DaveMoreno I hear ya David. I used to own new the horrendous Stratus and Sebring. Worse cars ever made. Then later years switch to Honda Toyota. The build quality is impeccable.
Yes that’s why imperials built from 64-68 were banned from most demo derbies, they crushed everything in there path
B 504 I don’t care if anyone buys this product, I care that they know there’s a problem and they continue to make it the same way and don’t back it.
I just filled up at a fast pump and the charger died out again three blocks away.
Gary Piont wow! What a bummer, in this day and age we should build a better more reliable vehicle, specially for the money they charge.
I had a dodge van that when It got wrecked it had 178k miles on it and still ran!!! it was a 2002 year model and only thing that ever went wrong with it other than the occasional dead battery was a bad fuel pump
Brian Grant very cool bud, glad it worked out for u. 👍🏼
