I know that the longer you play, the longer it takes to make a video, and the slower the videos come out, but all the same: I would be interested to see you do something really off the wall like this without a console command. Maybe it can't be *quite* this crazy (logistically, with all the sailing/exploration that would be required), but perhaps something with a huge cultural mismatch, like taking one of the Asian Horde nations and putting them in charge of the HRE?

If you watched the video you will also notice that hawk didn't have much ae with the hre until he discovered them because he didnt get any beacause he didn't see them. thats why no one cares if songhai or someone blobs in west africa. and it's the only situation i know of where that fact would be useful so most people don't know it. But what do I know I only have 5k hours in the game and have been playing it since release.

the initial revealed areas of the map is dependent on your tech group. I learned this when playing a ck2toeu4 save with sunset invasion. I played as a High American aztec state in europe, and they had no knowledge of anything in europe outside themselves and the other aztec states.
Why didnt you just...played chimu...and hopped to europe, changed your capital there and took land in the hre, ally austria, join the hre (turn catholic obviously) and become emperor?

As a person with Chimu ancestry, I enjoyed this run, but you should had used the console to give Chimu culture to the German provinces.

Tech groups are normally regional. If you start as custom Nation the tech group always reveal the original region even if you aren't there
