My dad passed 3 years ago and I’ve been thinking about him a lot. He raised us on these songs… He wasn’t perfect but he gave us a good foundation in Christ and I’m so grateful to God for him. May his soul rest in peace ❤
When I was 19 years old living in NC I got in trouble and went to jail for a week. When I got out I immediately moved away to Virginia to live with my mom and get away from the game I was playing and losing. My mom introduced me to Ron Kent music while attending Bethel Temple in Hampton, VA. His music gave me inspiration and eagerness to pursue Christ like never before. I will be forever thankful for his music. And of course to Christ for his mercy and salvation. All glory be to God!!

I have been listening to Ron Kenoly this whole weekend in January 2024. It has been at least two decades since I listened to Kenoly and the Integrity singers and musicians. I must say these 90s era worship songs are MUCH more God-centered and Scriptural than what we sing today. I keep thinking as I listen, no wonder contemporary praise and worship leaves me feeling unmoved. Kenoly was anointed and gifted, but it is more than that. The lyrics are biblical and, therefore, they minister hope and healing.

So if you are suffering, if you are hurting, if you are growing weary…know the redemption, the restoration, the blessings have not shown up yet. They are coming. As you wait for your redemption and restoration, I am waiting on mine. You are not alone, and you are seen and loved by so many. I love you, but God loves you more.

I'm Brazilian and my English wasn't good when I heard this song for the first time. I found a CD and that song was the only one I could hear. The year was 1998 and the internet in Brazil was starting in my life. 25 years later, I decided to tell this story to my daughter and research the song. I found her video. Thanks for the gift. It was very special for me and who I am today and my 12 year old daughter already watched your video just listening to the song, imagining what I felt when I heard it for the first time. Thanks.
