This thing has such a nice interior. The wood and stitching on the steering wheel, the quilted stitching on the door panels/seats, the heated, cooled _and_ massaging front seats, I could go on and on with the luxury features on this Platinum; it's essentially a Lincoln with Ford badges.
When they Introduced the Ford police interceptor utility based explorer how come they have the weirdest column shifters which is for the police equipment such as laptop of all sorts
The column shifter is for ease of use to free up space for whatever police equipment may be needed. I think it's the same on the Police Interceptor Sedan (Taurus) as well. I personally love column shifters, it's too bad the only vehicles that still have them nowadays are some pickup trucks.
