Nahhhhhh the Pikmin 4 and Pikmin 3 ratings are perposterous. Imo, Pikmin 3 is top of best of the best (probably top 5 games period for me) and Pikmin 4 would be in the best

I was kinda disagreeing with some of the takes, but then you put all the xenos on top and I automatically loved the list
Splatoon 3 was not an unnecessary sequel by any means. Let me just list several things that they added to Splatoon 3 that changed the game significantly. The visuals for a sizeable upgrade, we got a card game, there's new mechanics like squid surge and a dodge mechanic which was sorely needed, Splatfests are better because there's more options to choose from, better maps, better balance, Three hubs to chose from, a rouge-lite DLC, TONS more customization, you have lockers to express yourself, banners, badges, and much more! Also, Splatoon 2 came out in 2017 and Splatoon 3 came out in 2022. 5 years apart is much better than the two years apart Splatoon 1 and 2 had. There was a lot more thought and care that was put into this sequel than Splatoon 2.
So no, this was not an unnecessary sequel and your opinion on Splatoon 3 is steeped in ignorance and stupidity.
You taking a random opinion from someone on the internet way too seriously dawg. No need to say that someone’s opinion is rooted in stupidity just because you disagree.
To me, everything you listed is so small it could have been in an update. Things like the hub and the customization. Nintendo wants your money though and decided to make everyone spend 60 dollars for what is the same exact game at its core. Spoilers, it’s not worth it.
Better maps is laughable, they're all the same 3 corridor choke point maps with less creativity than older maps.

@Dylonic The thing is, it's not that your opinion is stupid but you fail to see that a casual like you, that don't see the difference between each game, it's just embarrassing yourself.
"This could be an update" no, because 2 and 3 plays EXTREMELY different, every veteran high rank player will tell you that going back to Splatoon 2 it's almost unplayable, not only because of how slow it is, but how many other stuff like main power up and some specials, makes the game simply not fun to play.
But I don't expect a person that only plays Turf War to understand that stuff.
The rouge lite dlc is really good
With regard to Kirby Star Allies and Kirby and the Forgotten Land, using updates as an excuse is a poor one because Forgotten Land was a full game and didn't need it but Star Allies did. It upset a lot of people at launch because it cost $60 and you could finish it in just 4 hours. The added content later on was Nintendo basically apologizing for a terrible launch. It should have launched at $40 for the amount of content it had.
I can not imagine liking 1-2 switch as much as you 2 did

ACNH is my most played Switch game. Also why didn't you just use the ACNH Transfer Tool to move it to your new Switch? Do you still have you old one or did you sell it, because if you still have the old Switch you can still transfer it over.

Xenoblade 1 is still the best in the series for me, no question with Xenoblade 2 lower. I hate the gatcha system for blades, I hate field skills locking progress (looking at Azami's blade quest for botany), Ursula, and I hate how Morag and Zeke get really one chaper to develop any character and they do nothing after that. The one party that would have contributed much more to the story rather than Rex, Nia, and Tora was Vandamn, and he f***ing DIED! Its a great game, but good lord Monolithsoft absolutely s*** the bed in many areas. Although the scope and every area are incredible, besides the Crusible.
I will respectfully disagree with every single thing you've said.
