Good feedback Jonas - I have recently started to Kayak and I have started off with an inflatable (I know, you probably dont consider it great!) but I am enjoying it. I hope to be able to what you can do! - Wishing you the best.

Thank you. You have to start somewhere and if an inflatable one is your best option that is good enough. If possible take a kayak course by a a good instructor and your kayaking will feel so much more fun. Goof luck!

Generally, I would recommend a kayak which is:
    Longer than 4.8 meters
    wide 56 cm or less
    Keyhole cockpit
Not too heavy (less than 28 kg)
Not too deep (you should be able to lay back)
Should possibly have a skeg (not ruder)

All good advice. But we are not all created the same. Some are older and less able, some very big and others are small.
And if you only are going to go out calm days in a small lake and maybe do some fishing, a wider kayak may be best for you.
But my main suggestion is to test different kayaks until you find something that suits you.
