- (12-30-19) Here are the neat Traction elevators at the former Sheraton. Since this hotel was closing the next day, this is the final ride on these epic and famous elevators.

You and Andrew seem to have caught the biggest moments in this building's history. It's a shame this place is closing and the elevators will be missed.
I ALMOST missed out on these. Andrew kept complaining every time I would ask to go here, and I decided this last visit that I would go myself. I was informed two days prior to closing that it was going to close down. All of a sudden Andrew wanted to go lol
Those Door Frames on the outside on the Lobby Level looks like Schindler. On the 8th Floor those door frames look like Otis. Dieselducy filmed the elevators on his T1 Camera & the 2 Center open elevators for Basement was unlocked when it was the Sheraton Hotel before it was called the Blue Ridge Hotel & Basement was keyed off now. Except for the single slide elevator Basement is unlocked. But not keyed off. The third elevator on the right used to have the bell on the floor indicator inside the elevator.
Imagine if all of the chimes got the Thyssenkrupp ding on all floors and every elevator uses the Dover buzz each time it changes floors
These will be missed. I personally like this tower better, and the middle one has an epic motor. Is the right one the service elevator?

Elijah Rosado this is just a Dover traditional setup but since tke services them they replaced the Dover logo

by the looks of it seems roanokes economy is in toilet ive gone there and its nothing more than a drive past place

These elevators are identical at the Lodge at the Mountain Village in Park City UT.

I don't think many people have noticed this but, when Andrew shot his first video of these elevators back in 2009, he only did the center car and the basement was a button (And was most likely the same on the left car). This obviously means the buttons for that floor in both cars were replaced with keyswitches. What I'm curious to know is: At that time could the single-speeder have been on the same controller?
