Just finished watching 'Parenthood' which I started cause I'm such a big fan of Mae Whitman. Mae was amazing, her unblemished record continues. What I didn't expect was to become an instant fan of Lauren. Both she and Mae had so many great scenes with the other characters, but it was their scenes together that were the heart and soul of the show for me. She's a treasure.
@@sakinazack2580 I think it was on Hulu at the time. Probably still is. I want to say it was on Netflix for a while, but isn't right now. I need to watch it again at some point. Great show. Great cast. Lauren+Mae=Magic!
I adore Lauren's character on Parenthood. They somehow managed to make her the bold strong independent rebel type like in Gilmore Girls, but in the form of someone who is quite quiet and introverted. I think that's such an impressive feat. The loud talkative version of that character has been done many times, but to convey those same characteristics in a quieter character is so well done
