I'm so obsessed with this music and the Sludgebath comics. Its such an intriguing and unique way to tell a story. The music is so grungy and beautifully worded, while the comic has a slight comedy to it despite the insane dystopian world that is built. Amazing job man

I like this music, but I hate this reinterpretation of Prometheus, describing the uprising of humanity as a mistake and then Prometheus repenting... It's just so out of character, and what's worse, it's a full on nihilist take on it; Prometheus is the titan of forward mentality, Epimetheus is the one who makes bad decisions and regrets later. But, anyway, I support creative freedoms and expression, and this is truly intense
First I'd like to say I genuinely appreciate you engaging intellectually with the text. That's more than most people ever do and that's what I get excited about. 1. I'm many things but I'm definitely not a nihilist. Prometheus depicted in this song is a multi-dimensional being. Even though his monologue is full of regret after seeing what he interprets as humanity's "bastardization" of technology, the central cry that cuts through everything is still "you could be so much more". Despite humans "twisting warmth into war", despite being punished by the gods for efforts in vain, Prometheus STILL believes in humanity. I think people often wrongly identify my work as "Doomer Music" but an immovable pillar of the art I make is hope IN SPITE of doom. 2. This song isn't supposed to reflect the traditional character of Prometheus. In the larger universe of my music there are no Greek deities. I think it's important that recognizable iconography is played with and reinterpreted to explore different ideas. 3. I'm glad you enjoy the song! It makes me happy that there are people who engage with the music so deeply and critically.
