As someone who didn't get any Shinies until the Switch - 20+ years! - I'm totally cool with the higher rate. Makes collecting even more fun. Who doesn't want more Shinies?
It's not like you get free shinies, aith the shiny charm I am currently 3 sandwiches into a Fidough hunt which is an hour and a.half and still don't have it. My friend has been masuda'ing Sprigatito for a couple hours for several days and still doesn't have it. Shinies are now reasonable to obtain, but still rare enough you gotta hunt.
Sometimes people forget Toby Fox isn't the only good composer on this game, the rest of the composers are at least his equals, and have put out some serious bangers over the years.

Scarlet and Violet credits Minako Adachi, Junichi Masuda, Go Ichinose, Hiromitsu Maeba, Teruo Taniguchi, Hitomi Sato, and Toby Fox as composers. Toby Fox only composed four/five songs, depending on if you count the field theme melody. Teruo Taniguchi is the only one who hasn’t composed in a main-line Pokemon game before, and Hiromitsu Maeba composed for Legends Arceus (and also the excellent Great Ace Attorney soundtrack). The rest of them have all been composing for Pokémon games since at least Black and White.

It might had it Glitches but the Music, actually fun factor, open world and story are actually good. I haven't had a fun pokemon story since get 5. I enjoyed gen 5 story but 6 through 8 felt week.
Agreed it deserves a 7-10/10 rating overall instead of 2.9/10 like it has right now. This implies that just because of poor frame rates and graphics it’s worse than BDSP That has a 6/10 rating

If there’s something that GF has always done right is their music. I know they’ve struggled immensely with their games since transitioning to 3D, but their music has slapped so hard. Each game that comes out since XY I see myself loving more and more of their battle themes. For the first time, every battle theme got me intrigued. Sword and shield had some amazing beats but not every single one hit. Here? Every wild theme is amazing. Love the nemona battle. Arvens theme Makes me dance for some reason 🤣 the trainer theme just hits right. PENNY MAKES ME VIBE, AND MAN THAT PROFESSOR BATTLE THEME GOOD GOD. I absolutely love this games battle tracks!

You can skip every battle where this is played and the wild battle themes are way better in this game so I personally think this is one of the more underwhelming songs in the OST
it's because they've got like seven composers, each of which could make a great ost all by themselves. Go Ichinose and Junichi Masuda have worked on the soundtracks since forever, Minako Adachi composed bangers like Guzma's theme and the SwSh gym battle theme, and Hiromitsu Maeba did the soundtracks for the Great Ace Attorney games, which are outstanding.

If the Undertale community can agree on one thing, it is that Toby Fox is an *amazing* songwriter and you can see that in the Area Zero theme, which might be the best track in the Pokémon Scarlet/Vioket OST imo. The rest of the team should obviously be credited that much as well, all of them composed this awesome OST together

Her battle sucked. She’s one of the worst champions in the games. She has Glimmora as her final pokemon, which is stupid, since it’s a good setup mon. She should’ve used kingambit last, because of its ability Honestly Leon was so much better

The East Providence theme is legit a masterpiece. All the route themes in this game are amazing but when that one started playing it legit blew me away.
Well they are always there. The stakes and shrines are always available to tackle, just the lore and such is locked behind Raifort. So if you could somehow tackle the high level the Quartet have and shuck enough Pokeballs to capture, it's possible.
My favorite tracks are the sandwich track, the area zero track for the Great crater, penny's theme and the final battle of the game in area zero. All of the tracks slap though. This game gives me similar track vibes to Gen 5 which I think is partly why I thoroughly enjoy this game despite its bugs, glitches and performance issues, once those are fixed, these games will definitely surpass sw/sh
I feel like it already surpasses sw/sh even WITH the shit performance. If the performance were good, it could possibly surpass gen 5. But for now, it stays beneath gen 7 as my third favorite.

I never skipped any of the trainers, I always went to battle because that's the fun of the game, I still find some of them and still battle them and even had the trouble fighting ones during my playthrough because I went to places that I shouldn't be

I just cleared Medali’s Gym yesterday, been playing a whole month. Oh, I’m taking it slow alright. Haven’t enjoyed a game this much in ages. Story+Gameplay will always eclipse Graphics.
I also really love the OST, I also love Toby Fox content but please it is EXTREMELY annoying to see everyone just thanking Toby Fox for everything, there were others very good composers and Toby just made the final area, final area battle, final boss, tera raid, nemona, and a fews forgivable, they were mostly together to do music, he did like tera raid and maybe the final boss alone.
This generation of music was pretty bad in my opinion, and yes I listened to pretty much all of the music but nothing was good. The only exceptions is area zero, Its the best pokemon music Ive heard in a while, right next to my favorites. But only areo zero is good, the rest is super lackluster and sounds like stuff from the older games slightly changed.
Apparently a DLC will be made soon with theories of it building off Kalos, very excited for that. Ik it is a long shot but it would be fucking insane if Mega's came back on top of terra.

If you look at VGC, Diamax and Tera(s) feet well into the meta. I know some of the Single player will disagree with this but I would be happy if Mega(s) or Z-move remain in the Past and Diamax remain out of Gen 9. But I definitely want more Paradox Pokemon. Could you Imagine some other pokemon with these form? Personal I would like to see a Ancient Gyrados or a Future version

I'm hoping for a patch. The whole release snd then fix theme companies have had to do is annoying but considering that the pokemon company and Nintendo have a set release timeframe for gamefreak, it's not entirely on the A team for it. I'm certain the games would have had vast improvement if they had at least 6 more months or a year to work on it longer.
This game is one of the funnest main game Pokémon games that have come out in a while. Not only does the music slap, the story is great, and I genuinely love all the heart in the game. Especially the fact that so many characters are built out and you have a sense of freedom within the game that no other Pokémon game has.

My favorite theme in the entire game was the Team Star Grunt theme, which Toby didn't actually work on, so that ending doesn't really apply to me

@@BeesKneesMF I hope Megas are done. Only a few actually did what they were intended to do. At least with Diamax and Teras seems to be useful on everyone and not on a few. If you look at VGC, Diamax and Tera(s) feet well into the meta. I know some of the Single player will disagree with this but I would be happy if Mega(s) or Z-move remain in the Past and Diamax remain out of Gen 9.
But I definitely want more Paradox Pokemon. Could you Imagine some other pokemon with these form?

I'm hoping for a patch. The whole release snd then fix theme companies have had to do is annoying but considering that the pokemon company and Nintendo have a set release timeframe for gamefreak, it's not entirely on the A team for it. I'm certain the games would have had vast improvement if they had at least 6 more months or a year to work on it longer.

This game is one of the funnest main game Pokémon games that have come out in a while. Not only does the music slap, the story is great, and I genuinely love all the heart in the game. Especially the fact that so many characters are built out and you have a sense of freedom within the game that no other Pokémon game has.
Tbh everything about scarlet and violet except for some Pokemon, lore and just a few tracks were disappointing

Not gonna lie, this game's Soundtrack is so mid, change my mind. Area 0 sounds Good but literally just watered down SMT 5 Music, that first wild battle theme aka the "secret one" is just generic wild battle music, and pratically every other tack is bland. Only good track is Wild Paradox Pokemon fights and Penny
And if you suggest a theme, I could likely suggest one from a previous game that tops it lmao
Also also, the title theme is ass, o don't care if you get it after beating the game, the sound effects of people are so loud to hear the song, and there aren't ANY visuals, just some boring png file
