The fact that deku came back in time to kill the hero in himself to still be quirkless and just be a police officer- it's either that Deku really wants bakugou to have OFA or that Deku is so tired and stressed of the hero life that he wants to stop everything the moment it started- or maybe he doesn't feel like he is good enough- or maybe Bakugou dies in the future which makes deku wants to try a different role- THERE ARE WAY TOO MUCH OPTIONS

Wow... Not what I was expecting. I had a feeling something happened to Katsuki, like maybe he didn't make it out of the final battle or something and Deku couldn't live without him? Like he didn't want to be a hero if Katsuki was gone? But why change the timeline? Could it be he wanted them to have a relationship? With AFO not being in Deku's possession, Katsuki would have no real reason to see him as a rival. Hard to say though.
