NL saying “he doesn’t get muscled off the puck” followed immediately by his player getting muscled off the puck only to throw his stick with the accuracy and deadly precision of Shaka Zulu himself and say “Well you had that coming” I am pissing myself with laughter

What also got me was goalie's bottle 🍼 being launched off the goalpost and then just lying there in the middle of the ice rink for minutes XD

Seeing NL so into the game is really fun. Also his sports-like commentary is top tier as always.
First time he threw the stick at the opponent, cracking the man's skull and giving him retrograde amnesia I almost choked on my lemon pepper wings.

As a hockey fan and fellow Canucks fan, TRUST ME, they are SPOT ON references and more hilarious than you might think.
20 minutes in and this is one of the most pog-full experiences I've ever lived, this game is amazing

Obviously you're joking, but Canadian football actually exists. It's mostly the same as American, but in the CFL there are only three downs, the field is 110 yards long, the end zones are 20 yards deep, and the field is 12 yards wider than in the NFL.

16:58 I was watching a local game, and one of the refs absolutely annihilated a guy who was trying to get froggy. The ref was a giant though. Probably an old player from back in the day. Dude was an absolute unit. Didn't even know the guy bounced off of his shoulder because he was skating to break up another fight.

As a Swedish hockey fan I love the hockey anecdotes from a Canadian perspective and also this game is GOTY already
Love how when you play the Refs, the actual Ref calls off your first goal, and then in each subsequent period literally throws the puck during the face-off to a spot where it's easier for a Ref players to get it lol! Also, The Ref goalie trying to jam his stick into everyone that comes near him. It's just too good. Can't wait for this to release.
Kind of funny how NL didn't realize that the ref was throwing the puck to the opponents and kept saying he needed to work on his face-offs.

Man, I hope there is a revival of the alternative mayhem versions of real sports again. As a kid I loved games like Mutant league football/hockey. This game sorta reminds of those but a bit more tactical.
I think this is an all-time favorite video, just off of the passion
The refs team all signaling goal when they score, disallowing the first goal against them (must be a special trait of that team?) and their goalie being an umpire is goddamn brilliant.

I think that this is the most genuinely excited and happy I have seen NL in a very long time. Think ive only seen him be this happy when hes told some cute stories about his kid. This was a joy to watch and i hope we get to see more of Mr.HappyEgg in the future. Also, this game looks like a hoot.
