That second goal against Vegas was a thing of beauty. Marner makes it look so easy
So hope he ignores the haters, nothing is his fault this is a TEAM game and a very tough one at that. I love that we have him and I hope he plays his entire career for the Leafs.. an absolute pleasure to watch you just never know what he is going to do next.

Mitch Marner is a sniper, just feed him the puck on a 2 on 1 or anywhere and he'll bury it, with his little tuck backhand shot or his undressing of the goalie on a breakaway with his quick release shot to find the back of the net. What a goal frenzy he had going on in the 2021-22 NHL Season. And also what a little show that he puts on when he has that puck in his possession. One of the best in the NHL.
And at the end of it all he gets car jacked....Heart on his sleeve. You can't say anything bad about him. Best leaf in history in my books.
I went from Datsyuk as my fave player to Marner. He made me a Leaf’s fan! (Along w/ Wings).

Most overhated player in the NHL.
I'm honestly a fan of Marner's game. Do I think he's overrated? Yeah a little but mainly because of his contract and his playoff woes even tho this year he did play pretty good tho
If he didn't have mental health issues I do believe he would be top 5 overall in the nhl. He's been breaking records and in the top whatever since he was 4 honestly.

Watching the Matthews and Marner videos, it just showed me how incredibly carried Bunting was for his points, like in this comp he had like 10 assists where he just gave it to Marner and he scored like 10 seconds later when he had nothing to do with the play that led to the goal. about 30% of his points were 2nd assists 19/63 and a bunch of the 1st assists were the same in this video.
Buntings job is to retrieve the puck and give it to Matthews and Marner. I'd say he did a great job at that.
Matthews and Marners skill does not detract from Buntings. Bunting is a top six forward on any other team, its just Matthews and Marner are insanely good they make Bunting look like a bum.

In spite of losing to Columbus and the Habs, both of whom had no business being in the playoffs in the first place yet you stillcall other teams accomplishments sad. @@brandonpatel3121 Only two goals though, and both of them were in games 1 and 2, which were also blowouts. And before that his last goal was in game 1 against Boston in 2019.
