Education minister sending his children overseas for schooling, politicians going overseas for medical care. Not a good sign on the job they are doing.
Those government officials will just act like their going to work in Dubai meanwhile their on a shopping spree 😂 African leaders can't live without Europe.
Finally Gabon has taken a good forward in one aspect of governance I pray this is the start of many more changes that help the patriotism in that Village without following the imperialist playbook Shalom Achoti Wongel
We should be developing our own education system, so we can start developing our own technology, infrastructure and weapons to protect our territorial sovereignty from imperialists nations, instead we're busy wasting our money on foreign institutions overseas. We can develop our country/continent infrastructurally, technologically and economically within a single generation, just as the Chinese did for China and the Iranians are presently doing for Iran. However, without a sound and well developed education system, this is very unlikely to be achieved. After all, KNOWLEDGE is POWER.
If politicians do not trust their own education system they should not be politicians in that country they should go and become politicians in country they trust.
It is a FACT..That plenty of schools in other lands are way better than the Western countries people wanna send their children, to! Your own land most likely has better education! ❤️
@@WongelZelalem I will always believe that the Ancient Lands..Africa, China, Russia and so on..will always have more factual and disciplined education. That is what is needed!
This is a admiral idea but idealistic. There's many ways corruption can show it's head but this is a step in the right direction creating a standard for the government officials to follow on record.
No. No. No. that’s sad. Today the public servants. Tomorrow the common man. A lot of things happening around the great reset. Not everything that looks good, is good for us.
You are right about the topic good lady. President Kagame in his inherent wisdom did something similar if not much more better. Rwandese could not hold property or bank accounts abroad or outside the country. But he did the opposite in matters of education. Any or every senior government official had to have a Master’s Degree even if it meant getting it outside the country. I met senior government and military officers doing PhDs and Masters outside the country. In order to progress in the Judiciary Executive or Parliamentary system. It works out well.
Post-grad education is different. The problem is usually at the basic level (the foundation). The education minister (and other public officials) hardly send their children to the public basic school.
🇬🇦 Mbolo/Salama fam👋🏿,😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 now our President made a good move 🤣🤣🤣 they are all mad am sure 😂😂😂... now I understand why they reduce the amount of cash withdrawal out of Gabon..hmmm 🤔
The Government should ban people from going abroad to study because this is a waste of country resources as a result we will be able to develop our own educational system.
Its about time! More African Countries needs to adopt this policy.

You are absolutely correct. These leaders motives need to be examined.
New Africa Rising!!!!!✊🏾✊🏾
Thanks Mrs. Zelalem for keeping us informed

I thought the same 😂. Hopefully the government checks their reason for travel thoroughly.
@@africaisking7817Yes, they absolutely would!😔
Looking forward to see if this works out
🤞🏾🤞🏾
Me too
Setting boundaries for those empowered so that their focus remains sharpened. Great
Thank you.
Excellent tactic. 💪 💡 👍 Thank you for your report ❤
I wish the people would take this up on their own accord in order to improve their own homes.

Yes this might be a good decision. We shall wait and see what change this will bring.
We’ll put our prayers and energy behind this notion Wongel ✌🏿
Great decisions, less extravagances.
It's about time ❤
Yikes! Here we go again!
Not in Kenya. Any presidential hopeful must visit the masters a broad for blessings.

What ever comes out of Gabon 🇬🇦 I’ll take it with a grain of salt 🧂
Is everywhere in African country. Very sad
Great video!
A very vicious cycle that needs to end. kudos

We can work on our schools to be more practical than theoretical but I agree we have good schools on the continent.

🤔 I can see how you would invest in your own home if you had to live in it. Yup.

We need pictures of the education ministers. Blame and Shame.

Let’s see if this ban brings change in Gabon
@@WongelZelalem It will bring change in Gabon and should be enforced in all African countries, including ordinary citizens and Government officials.

At least many chinese get undergraduate degrees at home before going abroad.
Do they?
I don’t know. That doesn’t sound like a step in the right direction.
