Actually she learned English at school in Australia but at home her parents speak Korean so she was like indulged in both languages

She so aussie she uses a new zealand passport lol. Dont worry she identifies as aussie as most people would growing up from 7-8 to 16 years old. However she's actually a kiwi.
Okay we are going to clear this up a little. New Zealand born, Australian raised and the reason she doesn't have an Australian passport is because it's not required for the Kiwi's to have one. It is the same for Aussies in New Zealand. We have our own little bubble.

Rosé discussed the meaning of ON THE GROUND in a video that she posted on her TH-cam channel. It's message is that although we're always trying to reach higher, thinking that success or fame is what we want, everything that we really need to be happy has always been in our hands. It's about recognizing that fame and success are short-lived, and family, friends and finding your true self are what's really important. In the song she sings about missing someone, by the end of the song we realize that she was singing about herself. She missed the happy person that she was before she became famous, and we see her visit the house where she grew up. She reconnects with her old self and remembers what she really needed in her life. (you see her write "Rosé" on the mirror, which is her stage name. The name then changes to "Roseanne", which is her real name.) At the end of the video she can truly ascend to her limits, now that she is "grounded" in the important things.
Of course, because Rose speaks English better than Korean.
Btw, she has Ausie accent but when she sings, she sings without accent thats Impressive

She was born in New Zealand, Grew up in Australia. She mentioned she spoke Korean at home with her parents as a kid. She had trouble adjusting to Korean culture when she moved to Korea after winning the open auditions in Australia. Lisa spoke English so it helped her a lot.

Looking like a futuristic space station it is four times larger than the old building and the inside is all pure white; walls, ceiling and floors. I don't know, I personally feel like they could be releasing more music and the company holds them back... They focus more on the guy groups.

As many others have mentioned English is Rosé's first language. She said that she had to find the right "voice" for the song and that English was the right fit to best deliver the message. And to clarify her heritage, she is actually a "Kiwi" (New Zealander). Although she moved to Australia when she was young she still remains a New Zealand citizen. Her parents are of Korean heritage, making her a Korean-New Zealander. Many reactors are surprised when hearing her English, as it is normally assumed that a K-Pop artist would speak primarily Korean. This is true in most cases, however BLACKPINK is unique in the industry. Lisa, another BLACKPINK member known for her swag rapping, is from Thailand, she grew up speaking Thai and English. When she was signed she didn't speak any Korean other than "Hello". Today she speaks so well that native Koreans have said that she speaks better than them!
