Do you point the top of the fishen rod at the fish or are suposed to point the rope at a fish I seen packral one time but you had to point the rope at him and he ate the rope
When we fly fish here in Newfoundland it’s almost always at an angle downriver with about one third the amount of casting required as this my arm would be too tired to land the salmon 😂
You use this setup so the line doesn't get tangled in the handle when you are casting and fishing... Switching to the other hand is not a problem once the fish is hooked. Although I would not switch back all the time like he does but that's just my style.
It takes a split second to switch. Now on my spinning reel, I do crank with my left hand. Strange I know, but I've done it that way my whole life (68) and I don't skip a beat.
Well, l’m right handed and l set up all my fly fishing reels so that the handle is on the right side. Have done so for more than 44 years. That minimizes the risk of the line getting stuck while casting. You should try it Seamus😄
You spose to carrey a rock when you swam acrase that rivar if the fish beside you gotta punch him in the head with it and kabolm you got a falay of fish
If right-hand casters stopped using the crazy angling convention of fighting the fish with their weaker left arm after they've cast all day with their dominant more dexterous right arm. Just saying, seemed like a good fish.
haha who tolt you to fish from that side of the lake my buddy is a gide he say to swim acrost and dingle your flie off the rocks or fish neer any Lilly pads or a dock common sense ainot so common I guess haha
Listen to that heart beat, Some say fishing is boring. If they only knew. Good angling Sir !
That is how you fight a big fish... I've done it a bit. The feel of a fight on the reel is epic
Hum would be nice to see what you had there , my forearm was starting to ache just watching. Thanks for the video
Do we guess the ending then 😆 🤣 😂 😹
Apparently🤣😂🙃🐟🦈🐟🦈

Fish was hooked on the Sevogle RIver in New Brunswick, Canada
Looks like Peabody Pool on the Groundhog Landing stretch.
Can't see why that fish would take, when the water was thoroughly disturbed with incessant casting!

I thought it was more like casting practice, the fly was on the water for about a second at a time. Seems to work though!
He doesent even know about the double pull so he has to do 500 casts instead of one to get the fly where he want it to be.@@callumclark3358
You shud have the handle on the other side if your right handed...you have to switch all time
