The difference in quality of directing is massive. The wednesday sequence has random cuts, no sense of progression, and, god forbid, many reaction shots. Even the eyeline is wrong in a move, obviously addressing the camera but not the partner. This is supposed to be the partner's subjective shot, but he is 30 degrees off.
Is the dance supposed to give Uma Thurman Pulp Fiction vibes? I mean like....in the show. Cus this version def does, and I wonder if part of its the wig lol
@@wanderingstar3255 agree. She topped Uma by far tho in my opinion. Travolta is the star in the Pulp Fiction scene. Can we really criticize someone for “copying” or being unoriginal in a show that is, like, the 20th reinvention of an intellectual property anyhow? haha
To be fair, Uma Thurman dance is a bit off as the music choice and editing is made for the Jenna dance copy here. Uma Thurman fit that build up and scene so well in Pulp Fiction. Plus 100% original. Uma +1 :D

The Jenna Ortega dance has similar elements of the Thurman dance. Perhaps the choreographer was inspired by the dance from Pulp Fiction.
