Played one of these the other day at my local guitar store (that carries many reverend models) killer guitar. It does seem to have that sound somewhere in between a Strat and a tele plays like a dream and I love the Wilkinson.
Either he has a heavy hand or the action is too low and creates some fret buzz. I just got a Pete Anderson and needed to change the setup a bit but it plays great now. Mine is also Yellow.
Playing this one through a Fender Junior (Jansen speaker) and it fits in the mix like a glove, leaving aside the pristine clarity of the PUs. With a touch of distortion is a wonder.
You all prolly dont give a shit but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost my account password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me.
@Deangelo Cesar thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Yes, it definitely does. I asked on the Reverend forum site about it some time ago, and the word from Joe Naylor, as I recall, is that the sound of the bridge pickup is about 80% tele and 20% strat - w/ trem unblocked, that is.
@@MattWhatsGoinOn Just got mine and I'm mesmerized by its tone. I'd agree with you except that I'd give 70/30 tele/strat. A pleasure to play it : the clarity of these PUs is unmatched in any of my other guitars and it's sooo much player-friendly.
If you compared this guitar to the squier tele maybe is just because you prefer tele sound to strat sound (essentialy the eastsider S is a strat in a tele shape). Try to compare the T version of the eastsider to the classic vibe for an apple to apple (or orange to orange) comparison.
bebenavole middle pickup is the less substantial difference, you have to consider the strat type neck pickup (important) and the wilkinson tremolo bridge (very, very, very important) with its springs and cavity and absence of metal plate. Without being too precise in the calculations, can you agree that in the strat/tele equation middle pickup + neck pickup + bridge = at least 75/25% ? After all these differences the T shape can do very little if you are searching for a Telly sound, so even if the reverend has the best quality and resonance, it is possible for a squier to meet more your taste.
Tone ofc is a matter of taste, but don't go only by the TH-cam sound samples. I strongly encourage you to grab and try one of these. You'd probably change your mind.

a dream guitar
Can't beat it for the price!!👍👍
I like my Baja Tele, but **damn** I wish my local shitty guitar 'super' store actually had some cool guitars like this back when I bought it.

@Deangelo Cesar it worked and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much you saved my ass!
@Markus Jason No problem =)
How different does the bridge pickup sound in the Eastsider S in comparison to the Eastsider T? Does the difference in bridges really affect the tone?

Sounds great
Lovely sounding axe!
I love Reverend guitars and I was really hoping to like this axe. Was very disappointed. I like the sound of a Squier CV more than this.
why exactly? I am really interested

The fact this guitar has a middle pickup does not make it less tele. Maybe quality or resonance issues?
