Thank u so much! I’m 56 & my Dad is going to be 83 next week. We haven’t always been close, really ever been close but over the last couple of years have become the closest & I’m so grateful! One affectionate thing that has remained constant between us has been he’s always called me his caboose because I was the last of 4 kids. I’ve been crocheting since January 2018, A LOT, even have my own Facebook page I’m so crazy about it and I wanted to crochet him a caboose last minute. I’m grateful you had this cute, easy pattern. He hasn’t been feeling so hot lately & depressed he can’t do what he used to, he likes to stay active. I want to give him something from my heart. ♥️

It's great you are now closer to your dad, my dad is 82 and has been very sick for years now and all he has the energy for is doctors and hospital appointments.
