Hi, need help... my tx is not picking up my voice. It's only my phone that is recording my voice. Rx and tx are connected. Both are showing as connected on the app. But still only the phone is recording. Can you help?

I got the dual pack of wireless Me and I can’t wait to try them!! (I already bought the hollyland lark m2 but they wont arrive on time so I spent my money on these rode coz I need them for a trip soooo) anyway maybe I’m keeping both coz I think they have different uses like the hollyland for trips and vlogs and Rode Wireless Me for my studio.
    Great review btw!! 🤩🙏🏻

I didn’t even know Rode came out with this model. I’ve been using the rode wireless go 2 for the past two years with great success. The sound was great. Unfortunately, I misplaced them and the only complaint about Rode was there big square bulky microphone. So I recently picked up the Hollyland Lark M2, and they are much more discreet and sound perfect. But the only thing I do miss is the more you can adjust the audio with Rode on their receiver to dial it in perfectly. Great video thanks for sharing.

I've really been wanting to try a Hollyland! It seems like an awesome alternative.

@@Gear_43so I cheaped out and only bought the Hollyland Lark M2 camera kit instead on the kit that comes with the iPhone receiver, camera receiver, and usb-c receiver. Well inside the camera kit includes a usb-c to usb-c cable, and a usb-c to lightning cable. And you can plug the usb-c cable into the camera receiver firmware port and use your camera receiver and microphones on your iPhones or your android cell phones or your computer and only the camera receiver allows you to adjust the volume and sound output. It is a very versatile microphone. Now I do like that you can use Lavalier Mic and plug it into the rode mics but unfortunately, you can’t do that with a holy land. But they’re so small. They’re fine the way they are. I bought the DJI Osmo pocket three and it came with the DJI mic 2 and that little microphone sounds good also. But right now the holy land is my favorite just for simple ease of use and it just sounds pretty good. 0:04

I just ordered the ME mics. Guess when i receive them i will learn more.
But can the Receiver be a stand alone if i use it on my chest cam with a Lavalier mic?

Fyi. Using them with Go Pro cams with the Go Pro adapter

It can be used as a boom mic, but wouldn't be a great lav mic unfortunately! It has to be plugged directly into your device. I mean... I think you might be able to if you had a super long USB-C cord, but wouldn't recommend it.

To get it to all work correctly, I had to download the app and update it to the newer firmware quite a few times!

hi friend, what audio level do you set it to for this video? mid or high?

I set mine to high, and then raise the volume in post production as well!
