He has ridiculous anti-zoning capabilities, great damage with or without his install, the best install in the game, strong setplay in his dolls, better reach than Marisa while being safer and able to space just as well, good oki in a game where oki is extremely important, and supers that make lethal confirms easy and consistent. The only things holding Blanka back is a lack of air-to-air, and his mix being slightly slower than Ken and Luke’s. He’s a monster that’s both good on his own, and a fantastic check to many of the buttons that solidify the other top third of the roster.

He has ridiculous anti-zoning capabilities, great damage with or without his install, the best install in the game, strong setplay in his dolls, better reach than Marisa while being safer and able to space just as well, good oki in a game where oki is extremely important, and supers that make lethal confirms easy and consistent. The only things holding Blanka back is a lack of air-to-air, and his mix being slightly slower than Ken and Luke’s. He’s a monster that’s both good on his own, and a fantastic check to many of the buttons that solidify the other top third of the roster.
