I truly think she's an inspirational working class hero. Life gave her lemons and she made lemonade- beautiful singer, a powerhouse actress and beyond down to earth. No wonder she's achieved longevity. Multiple threat talent wise- is there anything she can't turn her hand to successfully? Also loved seeing the naughty streak of her sense of humour coming out here a little bit too. Great podcast and interview.
She goes really light into the band dynamic that was caused by the hacking scandal at the time. They all thought each other were selling stories to each other. Don't blame her for how she felt given she was the target of a lot of negative headlines and from her perspective, it was only the other girls who knew about some of the details. Insane looking back. Suzanne talked about it quite a lot recently on another podcast.
