Yes I dropped mine a few times as well mate completely lost my brand new Samsung galaxy flip 3 fold phone and now I hate the battery 🔋 life company rubbish battery its doesn't work for myself I have learning difficulties as well I have bad wrists and hands needles and pins all the time and I can't even afford resure for my phone so I am not going to bother with the same Samsung phones I hate Samsung phones I prefer Sony Xperia phones good for music and HTC phones as well I am getting another HTC mobile phone unlocked pay as you go
I tried to use this phone without a case and I dropped. The frame got a dent and the body is a bit scratched but both screens are intact (the cover screen has some scratches too but nothing to significant). I think that's a huge proof that this phone is durable, but I'm not rocking it caseless anymore lol. Bought a spigen case, pretty cool case with hinge protection but it's too thick, I have issues wireless charging the phone.
I really wanna buy it but I'm afraid of the crease in the middle cracking, everything else doesn't bother me with battery life and having to open your phone to use it. I'm just afraid that after opening and closing the phone many times, it would break in the middle Do you know if I should really worry about it on the galaxy z flip 3 modle? Not even sure if you'll respond but it's worth a shot
I wouldn't worry. I have had this phone since early November and it's still in almost perfect condition and I open and close it at least 150 times a day. The hinge is still like how it was when I got it
I can say my display has some kind of crack in the crease. I never dropped my device and I used it very mindly. Ill send it back and hope Samsung wll repair it :( I was really happy with it... lll keep u updated
For your selfiproblem with the outerscreen: I might not have the right word for some steps, because my phone is in German. You go into settings Then advanced features Klick on functionbutton(or however its call in the englisch settings) There you have to activate dubbletap and chosse the camera
you can send quick tx replys from the little cover screen just scroll down when you get a tx on the little screen , you won't see them until you scroll down

If you turn off the features you don't use like 5G, always on display etc. and turn on features to help preserve battery life it's not bad It's not the best but it's not a deal breaker for me maybe for you it is
It's pretty bad. If you need a battery champ, this isn't it like I say in the review. I am around an outlet a lot so it's ok for me, but not if you're out of the house IMO

It will be fine,Samsung phones have one of the best optimization and their UI is great.I have mine since launch,use it as a daily phone and the phone still looks like new,i have 2 cases but i mostly use it without a case and i have 0 scratches on the inside and the outside.Still if you work with heights id's say it's best that you would get one of those rugged spigen cases that protect the hinge.Since the hinge is aluminum it will most likely dent or get damaged if it falls and it happens to land on the hinge.
@@pradnyaparamita1608 I would look into lanyard loops for phones.. they have adhesive sticky tabs that have loops on them, easily attach a pistol lanyard too it. Looks cool.. saves devices.. handy for sure.
@Farra Elena they should because it doesn't make any sense to have that extra space on the front half this would gives the phone zfold 3 vibe in a cheaper flip form factor.
I think they should do that too, similar to the Motorola Razr. But if they do that, they might have to make the battery much smaller than it already is.

There is already a screen protector pre-applied by Samsung. This screen protector is specially designed and protects the flexible display. Suppose the pre-applied protective film on the Z Flip 3 needs a replacement because of damage? Samsung says you should visit an authorized service center. The company will replace the screen protector if possible, and it may be chargeable. However, don’t try to fix it yourself, as you may end up damaging it even more.
I've owned both. I'll answer your question for you. iPhone 12 Pro has better cameras (depending on what you're looking for, this will matter more or less to you) and better battery life. The Z Flip 3 is less delicate (it's seriously built like a tank), has much more utility (outer screen, poseable), and is truly pocketable because it folds to protect its own screen.
@@johnvanderschuit yes and it changes the way you use your phone. Kinda helps you not feel or be addicted to using your phone. Because you have to actually really think of you wanna flip it open or not. Or just check the notification and keep out moving. This is exactly what Eye was looking for in a phone.. And it's a big whenever in a small nostalgic form factor!
I had a Note 20 Ultra, went to a Z fold 2, and I had an amazing experience with the Fold 2, so ended up getting the Fold 3. Bought the S22 Ultra, and just sold it in 2 days, sticking with my Z Fold 3. And rocking a Z Flip 3 as my secondary driver. BUT...there is some adjustement period with both foldables and camera wise, if you use all the features of the Note 20 Ultra camera set, you will have to adjust. I would say coming from a Note 20 Ultra, try to get a Z Fold 3, S Pen support also, and amazing displays/features.
Mine is cracking, on the seam.....not sure if its the factory installed screen protector or something else. Going to take it to Verizon and have them look at it...well see

The Samsung Flip 3 comes with a Switch app which allows you to take your data from your old iphone to your new Flip. You just need a cable to link the two devices while it does the transfer.

I have a z flip 3 and my screen protector started to bubble and was quite annoying so I peeled of the pre installed screen protector and now it looks much better don't worry your screen won't break
My biggest problem is the volume buttons being on the right hand side instead of the left. I'm right handed and I'm always hitting the volume buttons by mistake.
I wish it had a wider aspect ratio making the phone more usable make it the normal candy bar phone size when it unfolds which would allow the bigger battery inside like the phone could stay 6.7" but the aspect ratio should get wider as well as the Z-fold need to get wider aspect ratio plz plz to Samsung bring a wider candy phone aspect ratio
@electrosec majority aren't ur thinking comfort wise we don't thus ratio makes the phone almost unusable as it isn't fun to use at all it could stay this wide bur they need to decrease the length amd Make it 16:9 or max 18 or 19 by 9
@electrosec I know you're a fan of a narrow display, but to be honest with you, I enjoy the larger experience like they s21+ vs zflip 3 when watching contents on s21 even vs z flip 3 z flip 3 is taller but we usually watch videos in landscape mode contents appear smaller it's basically a taller iPhone 6 to be honest with you.
it's different for the US. they have a weird 5G wave that i believe other countries do not have, hence the extra antenna on the side. the same thing happened on the iphones too.
Yeah mine does not have that cutout either.But i think it's a US thing.As an example in Europe if you get a Pixel 6,the 5G will not work,so i guess something is different about that on US phones.
They zfold 3 is a more forward thinking phone they zflip 3 doesn't solve any problem like I could already fit 6.9" candy bar phone in my pocket no problem with that with better camera better battery life all it does is it folds in half in that case I'd say buy zfold 2 for a boxing sales u could get it 4 999 or trade in ur older phone n go as low as 799 around the same price as zflip 3 all zflip does it it folds in half zfold ur getting something bigger when u unfold and as all the features they zflip 3 has
I think they are trying to target a different consumer base with the Z Flip, as oppossed to the Z Fold. The Z Flip folds in half, which would make it easier to fit in women's smaller pockets and small purses. And I think they want to make the Z Flip appear as a quasi fashion statement, when you attach it to your clothes or bag with the ring case. Me personally, I'm more of a Z Fold kind of guy. But I do think there's still a place in the market for the Z Flip.
@Right-Winger to be honest with you u can attach the zfold their r 3ʳᵈ party accessory that could attach the 2 peace case together with the ring holder and in purses fold could easily fit as well it also fold into half but on the horizontal axis u can horizontally place the phone in the purse. As for most women's they carry a purse regardless even when they have pockets they always use purse n the zfold 3 when it's folded in half could easily fit in the purse this phone until exciting they zfold is ur getting a bigger screen.

It has IPX8 so it's technically as water resistant as a s21. Just not dust resistant (mostly due to the hinge I guess)

The outer fold has Samsung writing on it , is very easy to scratch be careful.
Funny you mention that, a small piece of the hinge paint is now gone! Doesn't affect usage at all, but it just happened!
