What was the knife to the right under the big two opposite of the armado 6.5 you guys didn't talk about it. And I paused and zoomed in and couldn't read it looks like a mountain etched on the blade?

It is what it is based on but currently doesn’t have an official name.

Yep... The Brothers of Bushcraft knife is an excellent choice for a general outdoor knife - as he said - especially for all around uses in the field... It has a nice weight, balance, grip, and its a beast. (BTW - although the shango notch works... I generally don't use it with my ferro rod... but I do use it for scraping bark to make tender)...

The BOB is about the only Tops knife that makes sense to me. Most of them seem to be weird for the sake of it.

I bought 2 tops knives kast year, they were kinda awkward, I sold them and got a Tkell.
Mind you that BOB looms pretty sweet.
Sometimes they are the love of your collection and sometimes they are just passing through and occasionally they are the ones that got away.

I am extremely interested in the ginunting Filipino knife. You said that was a prototype. When will the production be out? Did they give you any idea of the cost?
I just called them and since it is still in the prototype stage there isn’t any further information on it besides what we heard during the video. It is something to keep our eyes on.

@@haveaknifeday Thanks for the reply. Sorry, I'm so late. Getting the itch again to put some serious money down for a serious blade and was reminded about this video! I'm still interested in the Kuma Cage so hopefully i can track one day now or perhaps one of Tops' newer products 👍🏼

The Storm Vector has a very dangerous finger choil, like if ur not careful you'll squeeze ur finger right into the edge... Maybe had had that in mind idk just a thought. Excessive either way.
They lost their reputation as a serious knifemaker long ago, youre better off buying an Ontario at 1/3 the price.

It’s always a challenge to bring new designs to a stable that already has a lot of blade styles. It definitely can be a hit or miss with the community.

And the really frustrating thing is that some of the best models from Tops can be impossible to find because they are spread too thin making random useless or redundant stuff like this. I love Tops but this has been my experience so many times with them.
There are some older designs I’d like to see come back.

I love tops knives. American-made, sturdy, thick, sharp, decent steel, a few good designs- like what is there not to like?
