Actually I have a really good friend who was a marine, he was the smallest guy out of his team they made him the light machine gunner to bulk him up. He loved his job.
And even if he had practiced walking, it would be with controlled fire that matches his steps, like the second clip. He's probably blown away that he just kept his momentum even with the full auto.

In training you are told you have to put your gun back to safe once you’re done firing. This guy has just had enough experience and is now basically muscle memory
