Great video!! It's so helpful to see how the ramp collapses and where you store it. And Diesel really demonstrates it well!! :)

Yay!!! I’m so glad it was helpful!! Diesel cracked me up at the end. He just walked right up whether I was ready or not 🤣🤣

My English Mastiff refused to use the ramp. I bought foldable stairs. Problem solved without any training.

Whatever works best for you and your dog!! I know people who use the step kind too and it works great! I’m happy you found something that works for your dog. ❤

Hi, at its 87" max extended length, do you think a 100lb person could safely walk on it? Does it tend to bow at all?

This is just ridiculously big. They need to work on creating something like this. That is half size when it’s broken down maybe even 1/4 size.

I do 100% agree that it’s really big! I recently found something that is smaller that I want to try! Would you like to see that video?!

@@sparklesandsunshineblog certainly would be interested. We are exploring options also. I hear the pet safe ramp is one of the best ones in the market but it still looks very large when broken down. I hear pros and cons for each type of thing. The ramps have motion which freak the dogs out when they walk on it, some of the stairs topple over which of course isn’t great. Some of the fabric stairs completely tear very easily. Curious what you found.

@@calypsoshoard9132 awesome I’ll definitely get that up as soon as possible and I’ll add the link here in our comments when it’s live so you can see it! Totally understand what you’re saying, too. I found many pros and cons for each and for me. The biggest con for this one is the size. Plus any stairs that are fabric, unless you have like a 10 pound dog lol, those have never worked for me with large dogs. They just don’t hold the weight! I’m excited to get this video up for you to see!

@@calypsoshoard9132 oh! And many dogs are different and respond differently to ramps. For instance, someone commented on this video today, saying that their mastiff doesn’t like ramps (potentially from movement like you said!) and they didn’t wanna walk on it, but I’ve also got a mastiff mix that doesn’t mind it at all. Granted, diesel doesn’t mind literally anything 😂. So every dog responds differently and sometimes, it can take a little bit of time for them to get used to something new. But at the end of the day, if something isn’t working for your dog, just try something new and see how that goes!

@@sparklesandsunshineblog my German Shepherd is pretty neurotic, but I know that I can work on a ramp with him on smaller things and work my way up to getting into our SUV. I am worried about the flex motion when he steps on the ramp, but I think it will just take getting used to. I’m really curious if there’s a less expensive version of the pet safe ramp that works almost as well and maybe folds smaller.
