Excellent show, in the past I've had skidoos and Arctic's but when I bought my first Yamaha it was a 1979 Yamaha twin special 300 white and red snowmobile it was lightweight and fast. Chris from Pennsylvania.🤗
Bill here with Northwoods Snowmobiling LLC. I love the fact that you guys showcase new, old, upcoming, and builds. So much more interesting than just showcasing the latest. Appreciate the content
I really appreciate your content, without magazines this feels as close to home as that does. Not everything is going to be a homerun but still interesting to see some new technology out there, ignore the haters, keep doing wjay you're doing kind sir!
Further to john Smith below not only is the new Xcr such a great sled, light, 850 pulls like a freight train, very comfortable, front spring are100 lbs ver 80 much beefed up shocks and suspension. Christopher ottawa
@@LifeWideOpen780 I think I caught the sarcasm with the snow thing. Lol. This season has been difficult till recently to find the stuff. I still haven’t had the chance to pull the trigger.
I think they can work and be effective in certain circumstances like a rental fleet where charging and routes are the same day to day. I don’t see any electric sled working for how I like to enjoy sledding.
It's just the battery tech that's holding them back right now. Once Solid State EV's hit the market, the EV will greatly outperform gas vehicles in every way. Power and Range. Toyota is ready to bring solid state to market in 2025.
I got a comment I wouldn't buy one but it will probably be all right for people close area around their house cuz if that battery goes dead I would not want to push that blessed thing because the gas won't you be able to work on it if you can change a spark plug up but the electric motor and you know you can't touch it cuz it probably kill you or the battery would but it'll be all right around like in a town or close to home but not out on a you know I went on one but anybody else if they want to buy it then go ahead but I will not buy one have a good day for a electric truck or electric car have a good day sir
That’s because there was no snow outside and it takes time for a show to work through the system. I’ll be goin for my first ride if the season today and it’s mid January!!
As we have found in electric vehicles this winter Electric doesn't do well in cold temps!

Thanks Bill. We try and make every show a bit different and not fall into a formula. There is plenty more random stuff to come!
Great episode ...Love the oddballs , I have a 72 fiberglass sno bug right beside big Al in the Cochrane museum.

No where to charge where i ride. Tour groups makes sense tho.
As always great show how do you like the new XCR, I have a 2022 XCR lthe best handling sled ever and have owned many Christopher Ottawa
The XCR is probably one of my favourite sleds!

Thank you The Pegasus was new to me.
And just think their turbo sleds that dam near could be trail ridden that go 140mph on ice in 1/4 mile lol!
BOBSLA CAN KEEP THEIR FUNNY LOOKING BATHTUB THING, LOOKS FUNNY AND MAKES NO SENSE, MAYBE FOR KIDS
100 percent market the bobsla to ice fishing crowd ...
We have no snow and no open trails, no one around here cares.
3 episodes deep and no reviews? Maybe travel somewhere where there is snow lol
The next show will have the new Arctic Cat Catalyst sled up for a review. It’s pretty good!
@@jeffsteenbakkers4435 I still love the show don't worry l o l

Got your belt on the Drifter! Ultimax will be my key to success at the Bonnechere Cup! @@Ultimax224
They are using taiga at the xgames for participant transport. Only real world test these would do well at. 🤷
They can piss off with the elec. sled bullshit. ICE only thank you.
Electric motors are great, when there powered by diesel not batteries lol
Heavy industry has been doin it this way for a long time. Seems to work pretty good. I think the hybrid systems are more practical for sure.
Electric sleds will go by the way of the Electric car. Flash in the pan!

Nobody wants your electric sled unless it's under 5g. Electric needs to go far away from snowmobile
Speak for youself
Where did my replgo
@@mikeh4053 take your love for electric power sleds and jump in the bath 😅
@@ZachGraham-r2u I like them all. Tunnel vision. I own an electric car and employer pays charging bill. 😀 No gas bill here on one vehicle
I don’t mind them, I just wouldn’t trust them in Alaska’s backcountry
I dunno, these episodes are getting pretty boring as of late. You’re getting away from core snowmobiling to more of a walk around and talk show.

REMEMBER SNOWTRAX TELEVISION WITH SLED ED? THATS HOW YOU PUT AN EXCITING SHOW TOGETHER
@@sendit1158 I remember that guy. Never met him in person though! I would always just miss him…
