This is one of the best boss fights I've seen in a video game. It's important to have the brightness set properly for best effect here, if it is you get this effect of So-Shi's attacks and his big red eye being the only things visible in the room outside of short flashes of light as he attacks... and the music holy shit....
What do you mean? A2 and 9S also fought one.. i'm actually impressed by 9S taking on this beast with handicap and he's not even a combat unit, he's just angry and having a mental breakdown.

Hard difficulty dies once Route A is done. I strongly recommend choosing Hard for first playthrough, Very hard is quite doable but it's becoming a "loading game" :(
Beat the highest rank at the Gambler's Colosseum, you get 10 Forbidden fruit as a reward. Using one lowers your level by 10. Use all 10 and your back to one. I downgrade myself to 19, use some defense chips and play on Hard.

1:54 onwards, best part of the boss battle. When the light was shut down as the music kicks in, oh man the epicness is real.

2b will always be my favorite character from NieR Automata because she did this.

Yeah, Nier Automata had some amazing music and combat. I'm hoping Yoko Taro releases a sequel or similar game down the line.

I one shot this fight but took a whole day to beat to the one after this

Ypi go to system on the menu then change the difficulty by pressing game after
