Why are there comments saying she used tons of concealer? She only used it for dark circles and pimples! This is the only "no foundation" tutorial I've seen where the artist doesn't just put concealer all over their face like it's foundation! If you don't want to put makeup over your discoloration, then don't, but don't expect your discoloration to be gone! ?

Yeah, the point here is clearly not to wear minimal makeup, but to get away from the all-over foundation specifically. She's wearing FOUR forms of highlighter and then blush on that :D
Once you realize that, it's an interesting concept. I can see some reasons why you'd want to do that (maintenance mostly: instead of having foundation breaking up and wearing off unevenly all over, you have spots of concealer to deal with). It wouldn't work on me (I could never match one concealer that close to my skin's real tone + finish in all parts of face in variable lighting, for one thing), but it would be nice on some people.

@@laura_marie1 that’s incorrect because if you prep your skin correctly, it will last all day. There Are several nurses who wear makeup their whole shifts and if doesn’t budge since they use products that work for what they need.
Concealer also fades. I hate when people try to get everyone to not wear makeup since they don’t want to wear makeup.

Finally a video with just basic makeup look. Nothing too much. This is my all the time look. I have some freckles and beauty marks that I like so I don’t put a lot of product on. I use concealer under my eyes, bronzer, blush n high light. I do my brows mascara nice lipstick and thts it. So thnk u for this.

The funny thing is, I always use concealer when I do my makeup, never foundation. I tried foundation once, didnt like it. People always compliment my makeup and dont notice I only use concealer because I actually do it the same way! Cover under eye darkness and blemishes. I might try this concealer! If it doesnt crease on me haha.

Honestly it's these flawless every day looks I care about the most because when I actually need to go somewhere, I don't have hours to create bold eyeshadow and I think this or this with a winged eyeliner and maybe minimal eyeshadow is way more flattering.

Literally my thought when i saw this video.
Give your skin a break from makeup. I used to feel I had terrible skin (which I did) and I kept piling up makeup to cover it up which didn't make it any better. My skin always looked extremely dull. I finally said f it and I started going w/out foundation and only spot concealed Mon-Fri. My skin looks better than I ever thought it would. Not only that but I think I encouraged other girls in the office to do the same because all of us rock natural skin. I only get dolled up weekends which saves money on the high end products I use.
Not always a fix. I only wear makeup on holidays and my skin is terrible no matter what I've tried.

It can be a real challenge to feel comfortable enough to go out in public with no makeup when you are used to always having makeup on. You have stunning skin.
I think she missed a very important step which is great skin care before hand. Wash your face, apply moisturizer, oil, serum, face mists makes sure your skin looks super hydrated and healthy ! Other than that this definitely helped !

I believe they still get paid from youtube from their view count but not from the company sponsoring the video
I'm only a very small youtuber, so since I haven't got paid yet, I'm not a 100% sure. But what I've understood is that if you skip the ads, no, you don't get paid from TH-cam. The big TH-camrs don't make the most money from TH-cam (although it can be a lot since they have like hunders of thousand and millions watching their videos and not everyone skips the ads), but from sponsorships, partnerships and other things :)

Great tutorial! I have totally rocked the "concealer as a foundation look" all last year. I like that you added the shimmer. Adds dimension. I'm gonna incorporate that idea when I rock this look again.
