Everyone loves to say "violence is never the answer" without reconciling the fact that a system that allows horrifically painful and preventable deaths to occur and dehabilitating life conditions to perpetuate for profit is inherently violent. We've just created so many degrees of separation between the victims and perpetrators that the recognition of violence is distorted.

I worked as a contract worker for Blue Cross as a health claim representative for a good 2 years. They use AI software to help the company stay profitable. The AI software automatically denies patients who are deemed to be too expensive for the company to cover. Then an automatic rejection notice is printed, sent out to the recipient. I believe we denied about 21% of insurance claims. It has gotten so bad throughout the years.

    • @GTKJNow

They should be more honest and take the word Care out of Health Care. They should also remove the word Cross because they have nothing to do with Jesus Christ' unselfish sacrifice. Shooting a person in the back is not the answer this:
Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. [Rom 12:19 KJV]

So, remember, things are not that simple! There are unscrupulous doctors that in order to boost their profits they make false claims to the insurance company, it is called insurance fraud.

American health outcomes rank last of the 10 high income countries. 1/2 of the American people living paycheck to paycheck. CEO's making MILLIONS $$$. 1% have more wealth than the bottom half. This issue wouldn't even be a issue if it were not for the "NUMBER OF PEOPLE" who are angry. Do you really not understand why some claims are denied? Every healthcare system in the world has claim denials. If you pay high taxes to get socialized healthcare like the UK & Canada, they technically cover less than the US system. Do you think that socialized healthcare just covers every procedure for everyone in society? You think they approve endless rounds of chemo for 90 year olds? Of course not. The system can’t bankrupt itself for every person.
At some point, you’ve got to accept that the world doesn’t owe you anything. Save money to pay for your own medical care, buy private insurance, apply for disability if you qualify. Or apply for citizenship elsewhere

I don’t see my grandchildren anymore because I developed severe nerve damage in my legs and feet. I am no longer able to drive. A family member of mine has been missing for three years and the police could care less. They hardly even looked and gave up almost instantly. It's funny how rich and powerful people get totally different treatment. All they do is use us for profit. Our lives mean nothing to corporatists. What an evil country America has become..

If you knew any Italian or Greek men, you would realize how POSSIBLE this is...we had a friend who COULD have shaved 3 x/day. He DID shave 2x/day and always seemed to have a "shadow"...each time I see this comment, I scratch my head. I could be wrong, but think this is possible.

Get the government out of the way and let insurance companies compete again. Provide the best service at the best price or lose customers to a company who does.
