George Burns was a true legend. Johnny Carson once asked him how many cigars he smoked every day and Burns said between twelve and sixteen. Carson then asked what his doctors said about that to which Burns replied "my doctors are all dead."
Extremely surprised you left off the incomparable Jon Pertwee. Not only is he amongst the finest actors to play the lead role on Doctor Who, but his list of TV, radio, and stage appearances is extensive. He also managed to avoid the sinking of HMS Hood during WWII by being given a furlough 3 days before she went down. He was beloved by many, and missed by just as many.
I'm surprised Howard Rollins wasn't on this list , even though he died in late December of '96 . He played Virgil Tibbs on In the Heat of the Night TV series from 1988 - 1993 . He was also in the film A Soldier's Story with Denzel Washington .
@@bruce8808I agree. I couldn't remember the character's name that Greg Morris played. Thank you for the information. I knew that his son Phil was in the new "Mission Impossible." I didn't watch that, but I would like to sometime. Greg Morris was very handsome and he was a fantastic actor.
I lived in Henderson, Nevada at the time of Tupac's death, and learning why he ended up dead all these years later is pretty stupid, over a stupid fight.
@@stevenpagnani7005 The original killer, Orlando Anderson, was killed in a drive-by shooting unrelated to this case. Duane Keith Davis is the only person still alive in the car, was arrested after they say he violated an agreement in talking about it in his autobiography.. It was over a stupid fight, that's what I'm disdained by.
He passed November 22, 1996..He starred in Here Come the Brides and as Mr Spock's dad Sarek in the original Star Trek and the ST movies. Had a long distinguished career.
It's such a shame Ray Combs committed suicide. He was the first host of Family Feud I saw, and he was so funny. I like him the best of all the hosts, though Dawson, Harvey, and Karn were and are also great.
Joe Antennorra PBA commissioner (1960-1991) and Pete Rozelle NFL commissioner (1959-1989) also left us in 1996. Antennorra never got proper mention for a decision he made in 1961 granting ABC the right to cover pro bowling. Pro bowling wouldn't have survived without TV!
I was pretty upset to see that. Even if you didn't watch Doctor Who you knew his name, and his list of other works is extensive, as well as all of the convention appearances he made. Heck they left out Elisabeth Sladen and Nicholas Courtney in 2011 as well, two more people who defined a certain era of Doctor Who, and whose names are also well-known outside of the fandom.
They were cleared long ago when non-family and non-family friend (and non-known associations like the Ramsey's maid and her husband) DNA was found under her fingernails and on her underwear.
George Burns celebrated his 💯 birthday in 1979 17 rears before his 💯 birthday because he said he would be performing at The pallidium on his 💯 birthday love Anthony Fed ex lol

It's nice that you show your family members and friends that passed away at the end of each video.
Thank you. I appreciate that.
MS.ELLA FITZGERALD YOU ARE AN ICON . THANK YOU FOR THE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC 🎶. REST IN ENTERNAL PEACE THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS TUPAC

Thank you for including John McSherry. He was one of baseball’s most-liked and respected arbiters.
Your videos are some of the best on TH-cam, they offer a sense of closure. Thank You!
I loved watching Greg Morris in " Mission: Impossible."
He was great as Barney Collier. His son Phil Morris on The new "Mission:Impossible" which ran 2 seasons in 1988 and 1989 was great also.

Your videos are quality pieces of work. I hope your channel does well. Good luck.
Jon Pertwee and Mark Lenard should have been added here.
Rip all but it was a sad day when Carl Sagan left us
Ironic that one day after McLean Stevenson died, Roger Bowen who played Col Blake in the MASH movie died of the same thing (heart attack).
😮
Lead singer of the band The Waitresses( Patty Donahue) passed away on December 9th 1996. She passed away from lung cancer at the age of 40.
RIP Tupac, I'm glad they've finally caught ur killer. Now u can rest.❤️🌹🕊
Yessss🕊️🕊️
I lived in Henderson, Nevada at the time of Tupac's death, and learning why he ended up dead all these years later is pretty stupid, over a stupid fight.
Who's the killer?

Fun fact about George Burns; he's the only actor to ever star in a motion picture in every decade during the 90s.
"Every decade during the 90s???"
@@KebabMusicLtd 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Martin Balsam, real-life father to actress Talia Balsam who was once married to George Clooney.
You missed Roger Bowen, the actor who played Henry Blake in the motion picture "MASH." Bowen died the day after McLean Stevenson did.
Audrey Meadows was so beautiful! All pretty girls!
I am surprised that Mark Lenard was not listed. He was Sarek, Spock's father, and Aaron Stempel on 'Here Come the Brides'.
R.I.P. Mark Lenard.😥💔
He passed November 22, 1996..He starred in Here Come the Brides and as Mr Spock's dad Sarek in the original Star Trek and the ST movies. Had a long distinguished career.
You should’ve add Amber Hagerman, the Texas girl who got kidnapped. She died on January 17, 1996.
You forgot The Father of Bluegrass Bill Monroe, who died on September 9, 1996.
You didn't include Virginia Christine's career in radio, especially on "Gunsmoke".
RIP Tupac they finally caught the killer
Ray Combs died on the day of my high school graduation.

I'm surprised that Jon Pertwee wasn't among the list he died of a heart attack in may that year
This is an American website. They probably have never heard of Jon Pertwee! 😊
You forgot Italian horror director Lucio Fulci!
2:19 Aw, come on!
You left out Audrey Munson, America’s First Supermodel, who died February 20th, 1996
Miss Carl Sagan
You skipped Gene Nelson (Dancer, actor, director etc.) 9/16
No Jon Pertwee? Denied!!!

Whit Bissel - Georg Burns?
The saddest part is Jon Benet Ramsey not getting JUSTICE for her MURDER! Still think the Parents did it!
They were cleared long ago when non-family and non-family friend (and non-known associations like the Ramsey's maid and her husband) DNA was found under her fingernails and on her underwear.
Eles deixam a saudade enorme e jamais serão esquecidos e o tempo passa e ficamos com os pensamentos vivos.
William Colby CIA - drowning - interesting
U forgot Bernard Edwards of Chic & Howard Rollins
RIP the victims of the dunblane massacre too
There was no Minnesota Fats. They guy they showed was known as New York Fats. He used the Minnesota name after the publication of the 'The Hustler'.
He was also the father of R&B legend Etta James.
What's the difference between a "massive heart attack" and just a "heart attack"?
Massive probably means instant death.
Just heart attack, they most likely had a pulse awhile longer, but died soon after?
George Burns celebrated his 💯 birthday in 1979 17 rears before his 💯 birthday because he said he would be performing at The pallidium on his 💯 birthday love Anthony Fed ex lol
you forgot Sapphire valet of Dusty Rhodes she Died September 11th, 1996
I was in grade school
2Pac's murder was all we talked about the next day in school
Uhh wasn’t it talked about everywhere??
I never talked about it.
Tupac Shakurs death was the most tragic in the year 1996
JonBenet Ramsey was the most tragic.
Never heard of 2pack.
Where is Bernard Edwards?
Ray Combs death is disturbing. Sounds like he was possessed by a demon.
People should not be put on this cause they got murdered.Jonbenet,Nicole Brown Simpson.People should be known for their accomplishments.
Remember, "complications" means the Doctor screwed up. Doctors bury their mistakes.
I rested great anyway 😂
